Walking around the pond at Bates College during Walking to Wellness
My Friday morning began this day at 5:00 a.m. bright and early. I first started with my weight leg exercises with my new ankle weights. It is nice the box that they came in as additional exercises for me to do aside from the onces I was already doing. I then preceded to do my upper weight exercises before stretching. At this point in my recovery it is hard to see what any of the exercising that I do does for me, but keep me in shape. At 5:45 I then shaved then took my shower before going out into the kitchen for a bowl of cream of wheat and english muffin. I then returned to my bedroom to brush my teeth before calling United Wheelchair to check on my return trip from WestSide. United arrived shortly after. I had arrived to WestSide at 9:30. Michelle and Casey then took us to Bates College to walk outside this week around the pound there. I had done so with Michelle eight times. While Casey walked with the other clients. We had returned to WestSide at 11:00 I then made my way to the gym for stretching group with Michelle and Courtney. Today Sara, Dale, Chris, Pete and I took turns naming stretching exercises for the group to do. At 12:00 I then took a shower before eating lunch I had bought from Cafe Group. Today the group of clients involved in this group had made for lunch Hamburgers, pasta salad, and a brownie.Once I had my meal, I sat down to eat. United Wheelchair then took me home. I had arrived home at 2:10, thus going straight to bed. I had slept 'til 4:20 before getting up. I had talked with my parents briefly before going to my lap top to enter my daily blog entry.
