standing on one leg, how challenging is that?
my Tuesday morning began this morning at 5:00 a.m. by getting out of bed to stretch. I did so for thirty minutes before shaving then taking my shower. Once I had done so I had gone out into the kitchen at 6:00 to eat some grapes and banana before having a bowl of cereal and a toasted english muffin. Once I had finished eating I had brushed my teeth and was soon out the door on my way to therapy. I had arrive at WestSide for 9:00 a.m. Once my lunch and knapsack was in my locker, I had gone to the conference room for yoga. Today Michelle Michelle and Matt had us following a seated yoga practice. Practicing our breathing as we moved our body's. At 10:00 I had stayed in the conference room for Tai Chi. Today Priyadarshi had us first focussing on our plumb line as we worked on keeping our balance in many forms. Standing on one leg was a challenge as we shifted our weight from side to side. At 11:00 I then made my way to the arts and crafts room for Expressive Arts. Today I continued to decorate letters to spell the word spring to go with the collage of pictures we had made to hang in the lobby to celebrate, "SPRING!" At 12:00 I then took a shower before going to the kitchen to eat my lunch. At 12:45 I then met with Piper for case management. Piper was letting me know that Danielle had asked if I wanted to get out of tai chi and yoga. This would be the two hours hiking group would be taking place on Tuesday mornings from 9:00-11:00. I had replied, no. Piper said that what Daniel thought you would say. At 1:00 I then left for home. Upon my arrival home at 2:35 I had gone strait to bed and slept until 5:10 before getting up to eat dinner. I then went to my bedroom to blog.
