Working on throwing and my balance in the back yard at WestSide with Matt during P.T.
My Wednesday morning began on this day at 5:30 a.m. by getting to stretch. After doing I then began to do my weight exercises. Once I had completed my workout, I then took my shower, thus getting ready for the day ahead. At 6:45 I then found myself in the kitchen having a bowl of cereal with toast. At 7:15 I had returned to my bedroom to brush my teeth. After doing so, I had sat down to read while waiting for my ride. At 7:45 I then called my grandmother before leaving for WestSide. Upon my arrival at 9:30 I had met with Maria for counseling. During our session, we talked about using breathing techniques before each therapy to help me relax. At 10:00 I had then made my way to the gym where I had met Matt for my p.t. session. We had first went outside to walk to the bank. We then sat on the picnic table to rest before returning to WestSide. In all total one-half mile. Once we returned to WestSide we had worked on improving my balance by going out in the backyard to first walk two laps around the uneven ground. I then stood with one foot in front of the other and tossed rings so as to get them around a pole. Mat and I passed a ball so as to work on my throwing ability with the ar affected by the stroke. At 11:00 I then went back inside to the conference room for Brain injury education group. We first reviewed the glasses activity briefly. We then talked about what things we would need to another presentation. I.E personal stories, handouts, glasses activity, ect. We then continued to edit my personal story that I had written. At 12:00 I had taken a shower before eating my lunch. After doing so, I had gone back to the conference room for support group. Once we had finished sharing, I then grabbed my things and home I went. I had arrived home at 3:20 thus laying down to rest. I had slept until 5:00 before getting up to eat dinner. I then returned to my bedroom to blog before calling it a day.
