Filling out my application to Pine Tree Camp
My Tuesday morning began at 5:00 a.m. by making my bed. I then preceded to do my stretching that has been helping me in my stroke recovery. At 5:20 I then grabbed my weights and began to work my upper body. At 5:30 I then preceded to do my back exercises which include using ankle weights to work my legs. At 5:40 I then did another set of weight exercises. At 5:44 I then shaved before taking my shower. Once I was ready for the day ahead, I then went into the main camp at 6:10 so as to eat some fruit with fruit dip. Once I had my bowl of cereal with English muffin, I then went back into my camp so as to brush my teeth. I then put in my eye and nose drop before taking in some air. United Wheelchair soon arrived at 7:30 thus getting me to WestSide at 8:30. Upon my arrival to WestSide I had met with Priyadarshi for counseling. Once we had finished talking, I then went into a treatment room for my 10:00 a.m. Recreational Therapy Session with Tobie. I had showed Tobie first my pictures of my plants. I then filled out an application to go to Pine Tree Camp. The camp is usually for two days and three nights, but they also have an action of just going up for the one day on Wednesday. That is what I usually do, when I chose to go. At 10:45 Tobie and I had had taken one of the t-shirts that I had brought in so as to begin cutting to make a pillow. At 11:00 I then went into the craft room for expressive arts group. Michelle had given us each a piec of canvas. We then chose difference colored crayons so as to melt them onto the canvas next week. We then designed the picture we wanted to put on the canvas. At 12:00 I then left to go camp. I had arrived at camp at 1:40. Once I had eaten my lunch, I then went into my camp so as to brush my teeth before laying down to rest. I had slept from 2:00-5:00 before getting up so as to take a shower. I then went into the main camp so as to eat dinner. After doing so I had retunred to my camp so as to type in todays blog entry.
