Playing chess with Becca
My Wednesday morning began at 5:30 a.m. by drinking my hot cocoa while eating some fruit. At 5:45, I then fixed myself a bowl of cereal. Once I had finished eating, I then washed my dishes and picked up the kitchen. At 6:15 I then made my bedd before starting in with my stretches that have helped in my lates stroke recovery. At 6:30 I then began to do my back stretches. At 6:45 I then worked my upper body before taking a shower. At 7:05 I then put a heat pack on my back on my back for ten minutes. At 7:18 I then continued to get ready for my day ahead. At 8:00 I then grabbed my knapsack and went to the Camden living room so as to wait for United Wheelchair to arrive. Upon my arrival to WestSide at 9:00 during my rehab session with Becca we had played three games of chess. She then let me know that she will be coming a case manager. At 10:00 during yoga group in the conference room with Marie, we first followed a fusion yoga workout. This is a very intense yoga workout compared to the others that we usually do. Then by the request from another client in the group, we did a less challenging workout to end the group. At 11:00 I then went to Priyadarshi's office for mindfulness group. Once we had checked in, Priyadarshi asked us to focus on a color while followed a meditation. At 12:00 I then went to the lobby to meet the driver who would be taking me back. Upon my arrival at back to my apartment at 12:10 I then had made myself a salad. Once I had finished eating at 12:54, I had brushed my teeth. I then lied down to rest and slept from 12:57-2:30. I then brought my laundry to the laundry room, so as to start a wash. At 2:55 I then went to the fitness room. I first worked out with the seven pound weights doing my weight exercises. At 3:00 I then used the chest press. After five sets of twenty, I then wen walking in the halls for fifteen minutes. At 3:20 I was back in the fitness room cycling. After fifteen and 1.83 miles, I then stood on the incline board to hold a calf stretch. At 3:40 I then used the ten pound bar. At 3:55 I then returned to my apartment to take a shower. At 4:30 I then watched some news while waiting to go eat. On my way to the village green, I had put my laundry in the dryer. Once I had finished eating, On my back, I picked up my laundry and brought it to my apartment. Once it was folded and put away, I then got conformable before pulling up my blog and typing of my day.
