It is just a tool

My Wednesday morning began at 8:36 a.m. by going into the kitchen so sa to drink my hot cocoa and to eat some fruit. After doing so, I had a slice of french toast for breakfast. Once I had finished eating, I then returned to my bedroom at 8:36 to brush my teeth and shave. At 8:45 Nurse Sally had called me on messenger. She wanted to let me know to stop taking the medication laratadine the day before seeing the polmanologist. She then let me know the doctor that I will be seeing specializes in Asthma and Allergies. She then asked me if I heard about the vaccine yet. I then let her no, not yet. She then let me know of some clients that are returning to WestSide Neuro Rehab. She then let me know that Dr. Miller is at BaySide and WestSide. We then talked about letting my P.T. at Physical Rehab at my last visit that my ankle is better with A.F.O. but my leg is in pain at night while laying in bed. At 9:00 I then ended my call with Nurse Sally. At 9:11 I then washed my face and hair. After doing so, I had put in my eye and nose drops. Once I had taken in two puffs of air with both of my inhalers, I then spoke to my grandmother on the phone. After doing so, I had made my bed. At 10:00 I then had my counseling session with Frank. I first spoke to him about the birthday party I gone to on a zoom program. It was my friends fathers zoom account. The party was for another friend. We had talked and played questioned games. Frank then let me know of some programs on google. I then let him know of meds that I have to stop taking and my inhalers day before seeing the palmanologist. We then spoke about using my A.F.O. as a tool. Like a bag is a tool to cary things. This is called cognition reframing. My home work assignment this week from Frank is to identify some negitive things and spin them into positive things. At 10:48 we ended a little early, so I then dusted the furniture in my bedroom. At 11:00 I then did my stretches that I have been doing since having my stroke. I then did my back stretches and my newest P.T. stretches. At 11:26 I then completed my workout. I then went into the kitchen at 11:30 to have half of a sandwich for lunch before returning to my bedroom at noon to brush my teeth and lay down. I had slept from 12:-3:00 before waking. I then called Dr. Seally's office my p.c.p to ask to stopped taking a medication. She did not put me on it and my neurologist did mot put me on it. At 3:17 I then took a shower before talking to my sister. She let me know call anytime if I need any help with my computer that is her job. She works in a school system helping teachers learn technology. I then ate dinner before pulling up my blog and typing of my day.
