climbing stairs without holding on
I began my Tuesday morning at 5:00 a.m. by getting up to stretch and do my weight exercises. After doing so, I had taken my shower thus getting ready before going out into the kitchen to eat my fruit and drink my hot cocoa. I then had a bowl of cereal with banana along with a toasted muffin. Once I had finished eating I had bushed my teeth before sitting down to read while waiting for my ride. United Wheelchair finally arrived to bring my to WestSide picking up Donald along the way. Upon our arrival for 9:00 a.m. we had made our way into the conference room for yoga group. Today Don and I did some seated yoga exercises along with some breathing exercises with Michelle. At 10:00 I then made my way down to the gym for my P.T. session with Courtney. Courtney first strapped the gate belt around my waist, the we took off for our walk. One-third mile each way. Once we were back inside WestSide WestSide Courtney then had me climbing stairs without holding on to the railing. She the had me in the parallel bars doing balance exercises standing on the erix cuission. At 11:0 I then went to the lobby for a fifteen minutes break. At 11:15 I then met with Piper for my case management session. We spoke about my running and my stem cell appointments being done. We also spoke about the hard time I had breathing yesturday all day. At 11:30 I then had my nursing session with Sally. We first called Dr. Augers office to get permission to go downhill skiing this winter. My p.t. and rec therapist will be taking me. I can not wait. I have been working extremly hard to get to this point. and it is finally here. At 12:00 I then went to the kitchen to eat my lunch. After doing so I had met with Deb at 12:30 to work on my I pad to shut alarms. United then took Donald and I home at 1:00. I had arrived home at 2:45 thus going straight to bed. I the got up to take a shower before sitting down to blog. I the ated dinner.
