Happy Thanksgiving
Wednesday 11/27/13
I began my Wednesday morning at 8:00 a.m. by getting up to eat my breakfast. I had made myself a banana sandwhich. Once I had findished indulging myself, I had brushed my teeth before tending to my laundry. Once I had a load of wash going I had preceded to ride for thirty minutes. At 9:00 my trandportation had called to see if I was still going to WestSide today. I had replied, "Yes" then continued to ride. After doing so, I had returned to my bedroom to make my bed and to put some clean laundry away. At 9:20 I had done my leg exercsises. I then hung some laundry to dry. At 9:45 I then returned to my bedroom to do my upper weight exercises. At 9:55 I then stretched before starting another load of laundry. After taking my shower, I had hung the laundry to dry. Every time I take a shower, I remember the days when I needed help just to stand, so that I could take a shower. That part of my revovery seemed fly by. It is theses days that recovery to where I want to be just seems to go by as slow as a turtle. I then had a bowl of soup before United had arrived. I soon found myself at the door steps of WestSide at 1:00 p.m. I had gone straight to the conference room for support group. "STAY POSSITIVE" Scott, Denise, Carol, and I then shared with Deb, Tammy, and Sam. Carol went to rehab then went home to make pies with her daughter for Thanksgiving. Denise is going to her sisters for Thanksgiving. She will be making a pink salad to bring. She reports that her dog is not invited. Scott frustrated with Occupational Therapy, do to his arm not revovering as fast as he would like it to. That is just the opposite with me, my arm is fine but my foot is still week. Scott reports that he was at Partk View hospital then went to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston. Scott neglected to take his blood pressure medication which in turn gave him a stroke. Scott says he will cry at the drop of a hat. A lot of people have problems with emotions after a stroke. Whether it be crying, laughting or what have you. At 2:00 I then went to the gym for my P.T. session with Dan. Today dan first had me on the tredmill for fifteen minutes then we focussed on balance exercises. Side stepping, Walking with one foot in front of the other and so on. At 4:00 I then had I pad with Nichole We first downloaded some apps we then works on my blue tooth on my I pad. At 4:00 I then left to go home. I had arrived home at 5:15. Once inside I had got myself comfotable before having odderves with my parents and sister. At 6:30 we then had some pea soup. I was then in bed by 7:30.

My mother and I had left for mass at 8:45. At 9:45 we then went to my grandmothers to pick her up to bring to our house for Thanksgiving dinner. We had arrived home at 10:05. My parents, sister, grandmother, and I had talked and ate until 3:00 I the went to my bedroom with gram to watch a replay of the parade. At 3:50 gram than went home. We then soon called it a day.
