Sally you will be missed

Sunday June 14, 2015 My Sunday morning began at 7:00 a.m. by getting up at camp with my mother and leaving to to go home. We had arrived home at 7:30. Once inside, I had shaved and then began to stretch. At 7:50 I had sat down in front of my lap top to catch up on Riding The Brain Train blog entrees. After doing so, I had taken a shower, thus getting ready to go to church. At 9:15 I had walked out to the mail box to get the mail and todays paper. Once back inside the house, I had folding laundry had dried from a wash I had done The other day. At 10:10 my mother and I had left for church. After mass we had stopped by the Pierce House to pick up my grandmother so as to bring her to camp for the day. We had arrived back home at 11:40 I had changed into my jean shorts and a t-shirt before going to camp. After doing so, we were back on the road to camp by 11:50. We arrived at camp twenty minutes later. At 12:20 I had sat down with my grandmother to enjoy the views of the water while eating lunch. My mother had made us Goulette. At 12:45 once we had finished eating, we had gone out on the deck to peal some corn. We then continued to sit outside to talk grandma and I. As we were doing so we had slipped in a game of cribbage or two. At 3:00 We had gone inside the camp to eat dinner. Once we had finished eating, my father took grandma home. I then lied down to rest. I had slept from 3:50-5:30 before getting up. I had gone back into the camp to eat a bowl of potato salad with my parents out on the deck. I was not that hungry, but needed a little something to fill a void in my stomach. At 6:10 I had washed my face before going back out into my bunk house to put on my jams and a t-shirt. I then went back out to sit on the deck with my parents enjoying views of the lake and sounds of boats going by before going of to bed. Monday June 15, 2015 I began my Monday morning at 5:00 a.m.. by getting up to make my bed. I then went into the camp, to shower and get ready for the day ahead. At 5:20 I then made it back downstairs to drink my hot cocoa and to eat some fruit. I then had a bowl of cereal and toasted english muffin for breakfast. At 5:50 I had brushed my teeth before sitting down to do my tongue exercises while waiting for my ride. At 7:30 United Wheelchair had arrived to bring me to WestSide. We had arrived to therapy at 9:00 a.m. Once I had my lunch in my locker, I had made my way to the gym for my P.T. session Amethyst. I had first walked twenty minutes on the the treadmill. We then did some balance activities. I had stood on an erix pad in the parallel bars. While doing so, Amethyst and a I tossed a ball back and fourth. I then stood tandem on the pad. At 10:00 I had gone to poetry group. Today Carina had us first our limericks we had written. We then worked on writing more limericks as a group. As I watch the big blue boat, Upon the ocean it did float, I saw it set sail, Towards a great blue whale, Nope-make a note-its a goat. Our assignment for next week is to write two more limericks. At 11:00 I had made my way to the kitchens and dining area for baking basics group. Today we had made taco pasta shells. My job was to 1. Bring a large skillet to medium heat 2. Place beef into skillet and cook until no longer pink. 3. Drain meat and onion mixture. Once the project was complete we all sat down and enjoyed a shell or two. As we were eating, we looked through magazines for next weeks recipe. I then had lunch from 12:00-12:30. At 1:00 I then had my rehab session with Deb. Today we continued looking at pintrist. Our West Side nurse is retiring this Thursday but will be in next Monday and Tuesday. After that she will work at Westside perdiam. Best of luck Sally and thank you for all you have done. Your will be deeply missed. At 2:00 I had taken a shower before going to social group in the dining area. Today we had played worse case cenario survival game with Sandy and Laura. At 4:00 I then left for home. I had arrived home at 5:10. Upon doing so, I had put on something comfortable before eating dinner. I then called grandma before sitting down to blog.
