Weekend at camp

Friday June 5, 2015 My Friday began at 8:00 a.m. by going out into the kitchen to eat some fruit while drinking my hot cocoa. After doing so I had toasted an english muffin and put peanut butter and honey on it. Once I had finished eating, I had picked up the kitchen before starting the dishwasher. At 8:30 I had then returned to my bedroom to brush my teeth and shave. At 8:40 I then had put some clean laundry away that was outside my bedroom door. At 8:46 I then started to do my stretching. After doing so, I then strapped on my ankle weights and began to work my legs. At 9:15 I then had called my grandmother to see how her morning was going before taking my shower. Once I was ready for the day ahead, I had then fixed myself a bowl of pea soup.Once I had finished eating, I had brushed my teeth At 10:30 I then had gone back out into the kitchen to empty the dishwasher, thus putting the dish's away. I then sat down to read while waiting for United Wheelchair to arrive to to transport me to WestSide. Upon my arrival for 1:00 p.m. Matt and I had join the billards group. Matt had to fill in for a therapist that was out. While at the pool hall I paired up with another client as we took on two other clients. This was all new to me and a challenge indeed it was for my balance as Matt had me working on different stances as I made my shot. We had returned back to WestSide by 3:00 p.m. I then had a speech session. Susan was out sick today so Nichole filled in. We focussed on memory and speech activities as she said some words and phrases and I was to repeat. At 4:00 United then took me home. Upon my arrival home, my parents were there waiting to bring me to camp for the weekend. Upon my arrival to camp, I had taken a shower. At 6:10 I had called my grandmother. At 6:45 I then sat down to eat dinner. Once I had finished eating, I had gone out to my bunk housed at 7:30 for the night. At 9:55 I then had a toasted muffin. At 11:00 my mother and I had sat down to play three games of cribbage. Every time I do it reminds me of my first time playing after my stroke, I could remember how to play. At 12:00 I had brushed my teeth before going out to my bunk house to rest. I had slept from 12:30-3:30 before waking up. I then went back into the camp to enjoy a root beer float before taking a shower. At 4:15 I then went out on the camp deck with my parents.
