Working on the glasses and vision simulation during B.I.E. Group
My Wednesday morning began on this day at 5:30 a.m. by getting up to stretch and precede with my weight workout. After doing so I had shaved and showered before going out into the kitchen at 6:30 to eat some fruit. After doing so, I then had a banana sandwich for breakfast. At 7:00 I had returned to my bedroom to brush my teeth. I then sat down to call the pharmacy so as to have my prescriptions filled. While waiting for my ride, I had worked on a poem. Once United Wheelchair had arrived, I was soon on my way. I had arrived at WestSide at 9:15, as I had walked through the door, a client had commented to me saying, "I can't help but notice Troy, how well you are walking, keep up the good work. I then put my lunch and things into my locker. I then had met with Maria for my counseling session. Today I had spoke to Maria about my comfort level during group therapy. At 10:00 I had made my way to the gym for my p.t. session with Sandra. Today she first had me walk twenty minutes on the treadmill. I then went in the parallel bars and stood on an erix pad. while I was doing so, we had tossed a ball back and fourth. At 11:00 I then went to the conference room for Brain Injury Education Group. We had first spoke about our next upcoming presentation with the scrub club at Franklin Memorial Hospital next week in Farmington. Another easy trip for me. We then showed Michelle the progress we had made last week with Laurie and Deb on the glasses. At 12:00 I then went down to the kitchen to eat my lunch. After doing so, I had taken a shower. At 1:00 I then made my way to the conference room for support group. Todays quote being discussed was, "On earth there is no heaven, but there are pieces of it." At 2:00 I then met with Susan for my speech session. She had first hooked me up to the vital stem. She was able to get it up to level 13 for thirty minutes. This was my fifth treatment. We then spoke about eating and that I should add Goya to water to help it go down better. We then did some memory tasks. At At 3:00 I then had a support session with Deb. We first talked about fit bit, and the progress I am making with it. We then spoke about the upcoming presentation at the hospital with the scrub club. At 3:30 Lee from United brought me home. I had arrived home at 4:45. Once inside, I began to type my poem. At 5:45 I then called my grandmother to see how her day went and to tell her a little bit about mine. I then ate dinner before continuing to type my poem before sending it to Deb. I then pulled up my blog.
