Connecting the boards
My Thursday morning began at 5:30 a.m. by getting out of bed so as to do my stretching that has been helping in my stroke recovery. At 5:50 I then preceded to work my upper body with my weight exercises. I had ended my workout by doing my back stretches. At 6:10 I then shaved before taking my shower, thus getting ready for the day ahead. At 6:30 I then went into the main camp so as to eat some fruit while drinking my hot cocoa. After a bowl of cereal and piece of toasted banana bread, I had retunred to my camp so as to brush my teeth. On ce I had put my eye and nose drops in, I had taken in some air, At 7:00 Calvin from United Wheelchair had arrived to bring me to WestSide Neurorehab. Upon my arrival for 9:30 a.m. I had gone to the client lounge to sit and wait for my first therapy. I like it in there. Nice and quiet. While all the other clients are are out in the lobby waiting, I like to go in there to get away from all the noise. At 10;00 I had made my way into a treatment room for my rehab session with Kala. Today we continued to edit my book. Going through each chapter one by one. At 11:00 During my rehab session with Jamie, We continued and finished my project by connecting the boards that I had painted with the words HOPE, DREAM, BELIEVE on each one. After doing so, We then played a game of mancola. At 12:00 Calvin had taken me back to camp. I had arrived at camp at 1:15. Once I had eaten my lunch, I then went into my camp to brush my teeth and lay down to rest. I slept from 2:00-5:00. I then ate dinner before calling it a day.
