Gettin things straightened out with my new inhaler during my nursing session with Sally
I began my Tuesday morning at 6:00 a.m. I had a little extra time to sleep in, do to losing the power last night. We had experienced high winds that knocked tree limbs down. In doing so, it had knocked a power line down right outside my dooryard. I had put off the morning workout for obvious reasons. Once I washed my face and combed my hair, I then got dressed. I then went into the kitchen so as to eat some fruit with fruit dip. Then had a bowl of cereal with a blueberry muffin. Once I had finished eating, I then had brush my teeth. I then used my inhaler before putting in my eye and nose drops. I then grabbed my knapsack and met Buzzy the United Wheelchair driver who would be taking me to WestSide Neurorehab. Upon my arrival for 8:25 I had gone to the client lounge to sit and wait. I then went to Priyadarshi’s office so as to talk about my week. We had spoke about my programming with the devision of the blind, and maybe going to the conversion program sooner then later might be a better option so as to speed up the process. At 10:00 I then went to Tobie’s office for recreational therapy. Today we began to make pictures frames from the popsicle sticks. Tobie then sent photos of the ice fishing trip I had gone on with her and two others a couple of weeks ago by email. At 11:00, I then went to the nurses station for Nursing with Sally. We first called Dr. Seally’s office to speak to her nurse to let her know that my insurance will not cover the new inhaler that she prescribed. She then let me know that she would call tomorrow to let me know if she could get the new inhaler approved. Sally and I then went over my medications. Sally then took my blood pressure. 124 over 68. At 12:00 I had gone into the lobby so as to meet Lou the United Wheelchair Driver who would be taking me home. I had arrived. Home at 1:00 with the power still being out. My father had picked me lunch to eat while he was out and about earlier. Once I had finished eating, I then sat and watched the power company fix the power lines. We finial had our power back at 3:00 p.m. I then began to do my stroke stretches at 3:20. At 3:30 I then shaved before doing my back stretches. At 4:00 I then had taken a shower before going out into the kitchen for a bowl of soup. Once I had finished eating, I then returned to my bedoom at 5:05 so as to type in today’s blog entry.
