Sharing my goals with a friend
My Wednesday morning began at 5:00 a.m. by making my bed. I then began to do the stretches that have helped me during my stroke recovery. At 5:25 I then began to do my back stretch. Once I was loosened up, I then cycled for twenty minutes before returning to my bedroom at 6:00 a.m. so as to shave and take my shower. At 6:25 I then went into the kitchen so as to eat some fruit dipped in yogurt. I then had a bowl of cereal with a half toasted english muffin. At 6:40 I then retunred to my bedroom so as to brush my teeth. I then put in my eye and nose drops before taking in some air just in the nick of time. Buzzy the United Wheelchiar driver had arrived in my driveway at 7:00 a.m. We then went to pick up another client before arriving to WestSide at 9:00 a.m. I then went into Nancy’s office for visually impaired group. Today Nancy had the other client and I looking over our service plans and sharing information with one another with each other’s concent of course. At 10:00 During my rehab session with Jamie she and I had gone into the community. We had gone to the auburn mall so as to walk around, while I practiced using my white Cain. At 11:00 we were back at WestSide. I then went to Priyadarshi’s office for mindfulness group. Today we had first spoke about any experiences we have had over the week with meditation before actually doing one. During todays meditation Priyadarshi had us being aware of different parts of the body. At 1:00 I then went to the lobby so as to meet the United Wheelchair driver who would be taking me home. I had arrived home at 1:10. Once I had eaten my lunch, I then brushed my teeth before leaving the house with my mother. She first took me to the pharmacy so that I could pick up my scripts. She then took me to the chiropractor for a 3:00 p.m. appointment. After a couple of adjustment, Dr. Roberts said, “You're doing so well, I think we will go two months this time.” We then arrived home at 3:30. Once the car was unpacked, I had taken a shower. I then had a bowl of soup before calling my grandmother. At 4:25 I then pulled up my email to check before typing in todays blog entry.
