My Tuesday morning began at 6:30 a.m. by eating a bowl of cereal with a slice of homemade bread with peanut-butter. The power went out early this morning and it was still out, so I had a limited choice on what to eat. Once I had finished eating, I then brushed my teeth and shaved before putting in my eye and nose drops. After taking in two puffs of air with my inhaler, at 7:30 I began to do my constant therapy. United Wheelchair had soon arrived and I was on my way. I had arrived at Neuro Restorative at 9:15. I sat in the client lounge fro thirty minutes before going to the sewing room for reading group. Today Faith had us reading a story titled "Three-minutes and twenty-seven seconds on the score board clock." We stopped and discussed it every so often. At 10:30 I then went over to the gym for my P.T. Session with Caryn and Dan. They were both free, so Caryn did her assessment while Dan took a video of us for Neuro Restorative. At 11:15 during Brain Injury Education Group today with Faith and Abby, we reviewed the parts of the brain and what they do. At 12:00 during my O.T. Session with Laurie, I continued to increase my typing speed and accuracy accuracy. We then went into a typing program so that I could learn how to use it. At 12:30 during my speech session with Carina we continued to work with the e-stem, so as to reduce my choking and to improve my swallowing. At 1:23 I went to the lobby to meet the United Driver who would by taking me home. I had arrived home at 2:23. Feeling tired, I had lied down to rest and slept until 4:00. After taking a shower and getting comfortable fro the evening, I then ate dinner. At 5:00 I had pulled up my blog and typed of my day.
