Inspirational Quote
I began my Wednesday morning at 5:00 a.m. by getting up to stretch. After a twenty minute stretching session, I then began my weight workout. first my arms then my legs. At 5:40 I then shaved and took my shower while sipping on my hot cocoa. At 6:00 I then went into the kitchen to eat some fruit, I then had a pineapple muffin fir breakfast. At 6:30 I had returned to my bedroom to brush my teeth. I then sat down to fill my pill containers for the week. After doing so I then grabbed my knapsack and lunch and went to the door to wait for United Wheelchair. Upon my arrival to WestSide for 9:30 a.m. I then put my lunch in my locker before meeting with Maria. During my counseling session we spoke about goal setting and getting out and doing things in my community. At 10:00 during my P.T. session with Matt we went to Bates Track to do some walking. I had walked 2.0 miles before going back to WestSide. I wish it was running, but it is what it is for now. Once I was back at WestSide I went to the conference room for B.I.E. group. michelle had mentioned doing participating in a conference with the Red Claws Basket Ball Team. The topic is concussion. Who better to participate in this activity then myself after my ski accident and receiving a concussion. I know all about it first hand. You could say I am a pro at this Brain Injury, "STUFF." At 12:00 I then went to the dinning area to eat lunch with others. I then took a shower before going to the conference room for support group. After checking in and saying how our week went, I then spoke about appreciating where I am now by drawing a big circle saying in this circle is what I can do, I then drew a small circle saying this is what I am yet to be able to do. Although what I can do now are smaller things, put together they make up bigger part of my life in helping me towards independence. After saying what I had said, Maria had gave me a compliment on my insite. Next week I am to bring in a quote. I had left for home at 2:00. I had arrived home at 3:15, thus going straight to bed. I had slept until 5:00 before getting eat dinner. I called my grandmother before sitting down to blog.
