Erin filling in for the second half of yoga group
My Wednesday morning began at 5:00 a.m. by eating some fruit while drinking my hot cocoa. After doing so, I fixed myself a bowl of hot cereal to go with my half toasted english muffin. Once I had finished eating, I then brushed my teeth and shaved. At 5:40 I then made my bed before starting in with my stretches that have helped each morning since having my last stroke. At 5:56 I ten began to to my back stretches before going to the fitness room at 6:00. I had then cycled for twenty minutes. After going 2.38 miles, I then held a calf stretch. At 6:25 I then grabbed the ten pound bar. At 6:30 I then used the chest press. After three sets of twenty presses, At 7:30 I then grabbed the seven pound dumbbells to continue my weight exercises. At 6:40 I then returned to my apartment so as to take a shower and get ready for the day ahead. At 7:00 I then put my eye and nose drops in before taking two puffs of my inhaler. At 7:10 I then washed my dishes and picked up my kitchen. At 8:00 I then went to the Camden living room to wait for United Wheelchair to arrive. At 8:30 United had arrived to take me to my destination. Upon my arrival to WestSide at 8:45, I had sat in the lobby for fifteen minutes before going into a treatment room to play chess with Becca during a rehab session. At 10:00 I then went to the conference room for Adaptive yoga with Marie. For the first thirty minutes we followed an online Fuzion Workout. Marie had to leave the group at 10:30. Erin then stepped in for the next thirty minutes as we continued to exercise. At 11:00 I then went to Priyadarshi's office for a medication and mindfulness practice. After checking in explaining how mindfulness has helped us during the week, we then engaged in a mindfulness practice. At 12:00 I then went to the lobby to meet the United Wheelchair diver who would be taking me back. I had arrived at back to my apartment at 12:05 Marilyn had brought her boss Randy in to look at the floor in my apartment, which was like lifting up and cracking. Result, I will be getting a new floor in my kitchen. At 12:30 I then ate my lunch. At 12:50 I then went to the front desk to let sue know that I will be needing transportation to WestSide tomorrow. Do to the storm arriving tonight all transportation from legisticare will be cancelled. Sue then let me know to be in the lobby at 8:30, if Mark does not decide to cancel. At 12:55 I then returned to my apartment and lied down to rest. I had slept until 4:35 I then took a shower before going to the village green to eat. I then returned to my apartment. Once I was comfortable, I then pulled up my blog and began to type of my day.
