Making the best of a sick day
My Wednesday morning at 9:00 a.m. by waking to a call from the front desk letting me know that United Wheelchair waiting for me. It was not suppose to be. I called yesterday and cancelled. Since I was awake, I had fixed myself sone tea to go with my fruit. I then fixed myself a bowl of hot cereal with a piece of toast. Once I had finished eating, my mother had called to let me know that my sister would be picking me up tomorrow to go visit our parents. We talked until 9:24. At 9:30 I then called WestSide to cancel for the rest of the week. The receptionist then let me know that she would call United. At 9:33 I then brushed my teeth and shaved before washing my dishes. At 10:00 I then made my bed before taking a shower. At 10:45 I then started a load of laundry before watching a movie while waiting for it to be done. I was not feeling well, so I thought staying sedentary would be my best bet. At 11:15 I had put in my eye and noses drops before using my inhaler. At 11:30 I had put my wash in the dryer. I then finish watching my movie. At 12:00 I then had a cup of soup while watching the news. At 12:10 I then had called United Wheelchair to cancel my transportation for the rest of the week. At 12:17 I then spoke to my mother. At 12:20 I then lied down to rest. I slept until 12:45 before folding my laundry and putting it away. At 1:00 I then washed my dishes and put them away. At 1:05 I had lied down to rest. As I was laying there the cleaning crew came in and changed the sheets on my bed. While they were doing so, Nancy who works for transportation had delivered the noise reducing head phones Mark had ordered for me. This will come in handy if someone sets off another fire alarm. I then rested until 4:15 before taking a shower. At 4:30 I then sat down to fill my empty pill containers. As I was doing so, Ruth had brought by her granddaughter who has a visual impairment like myself. I had met her last fall. We spoke briefly, I then went to the village green to eat. Heather had filled out a menu for me for Sunday night because I am going to visit my parents for the weekend. I returned to my apartment at 6:00. Once I was comfortable, I then the rest of my empty pill containers. At 6:30 I then pulled up my blog so as to type of my day.
