A STAR IS BORN

I began my Monday morning at 5:00 a.m. by getting up to do my stretching and weight exercsies. At 6:00 I then went to the kitchen to eat a bananna sandwhich with nutella on it. Once I had finished eating, I then went to my bedroom to get ready to go to theropy. Once I was ready, I had grabbed my lunch and duffle bag and went to the door to wait. Once United had arrived, I was soon on my way. I had arrived at WestSide at 9:30 am., but my P.T. appointment was not until 10:00, so I had gone to the kitchen to put my lunch in the refrigerator. I then sat in the kitchen to wait. The gym is on the same level as the kitchen, so why dont. During p.t. today Tracie had me first walk thirty minutes on the tredmill non stop. She allowed me to take a break, but I chose not to. I ended up walking 1.22 miles. The goal Amanda has for me is to walk 2.0 miles with a speed of 2.5 or greater. Allowing three rest breaks or less. Tracey then had me running on the trampoline for fifteen minutes. At this point, I did the gate belt around my waist. Tracie then had me take a fifteen minute break in the gym before returning to the lobby to wait for my next session. At 11:15 I had then met with my case manager Piper. We talked about how my theropy was going and what I had done this past weekend. At 11:30 during my rehab session with Deb, she and I worked on my newspaper artical for Goodwill. My interview with MPR RADIO 90.1 has already been played a couple of times and is still running. After my lunch break at noon. I then went up to the lobby for Carina for my speech session. During this time we practiced the breathing exercises the doctor had geven me. United then took me home. I had arrived home at 2:00 and I had gone straight to bed. I was so tired from todays P.T. workout I had slept two hours straight. Once I had got up I then went to the kitchen to eat some clam chowder and macaroni salad for dinner. Once I had finished eating, I then went to my computer to blog.
