practicing how to ski during P.T.
I began my Thursday morning at 7:00 a.m. by going out into the kitchen to eat fruit and fruit dip while drinking my hot cocoa. I then had toasted bread and muffins. Once I had finished eating, I then went back to my bedroom to do my stretching and weight exercises. I then took my shower thus getting ready for the day ahead. Once I was ready, I then hung a load of laundry out to dry. At 8:50 Larry from United Wheelchair had arrived to take me to WestSide. I arrived at 10:00. I then brought my lunch downstairs to the kitchen to be put in the refrigerator. Once I had done so, I then went back up to the lobby to wait. Upon doing so I practiced my breathing exercises. Brian was out for the day so Jen had seen me for counseling. She is another psychologist that works at WestSide. Together she and did some more with the boi feedback. At 11:00 I then made my way down to the gym for my p.t. session with Dan. Dan first took my bloood pressure reading. 102 over 70. He then strapped the gatebelt around my waist. We then went outside to walk around the building at WestSide. After walking 3600 feet out in the parking lot, we then made our way back into the gym. Dan then took my blood pressure reading again. 106 over 78. He then had me in the parallel bars practicing the motions of sking. Alternating wait shifting exercises on the rocking board. At 12:00 I then went to the kitchen to eat my lunch with Ashly, Angie, Kay, Mark, Dan and others. Once I had finished eating I then had left to go home at 2:00 with Don from united. I arrived home at 2:00, thus taking in the laundry off the clothing line. It hadn't completely dried so I lied it on chairs and the rack to finish drying. At 2:15 I then went to my bedroom to lay down to rest. I had slept until 4:30 before getting up. I then went to my computer to blog.
