DIFFERENT FACES
I began my Thursday morning at 5:30 a.m. by doing my stretching exercises. At 6:00 I then went into the kitchen to drink my cocoa and to eat my breakfast. At 6:20 I then went back to my bedroom at 6:20 to brush my teeth before doing my weight exercises, both leg and arm. At I then went downstairs to ride for thirty minutes before taking my shower thus getting ready for my day ahead. Upon my arrivel to WestSide I went into speak with Dr. Brian Ablitz. After our discussion I then went to the gym at 11:00 for my P.T. session with Tracie. She first had me on the tredmill. In all I walked .075 miles in 18.20. At 11:30 Tracie then had me in the parallel bars doing balance exercises. At 12:00 I then went to the kitchen to eat my lunch with Greg and Kay. Once I had eaten my lunch I then went home on United. Upon my arrivel home at 2:50; I took an air flo reading soon as I was inside. 430, 400, 350. I then had a cool refreshing snack before laying down. At 3:00 I lied down to rest. After sleeping two hours, I went into the kitchen to eat fish chowder for dinner. I then went to my bedroom to blog at 6:00 before calling it a day.
RECOVERY
Recovery does not mean that you will wake up one day and you are fine. It does not mean your memoroy becomes intact. it does not mean you don't get confused, and it certainly does not mean you regain the life you had prior to the injury, disability, or illness.

Talking about feelings during support group, and how do you deal with them?
I began my Wednesday morning at 6:00 a.m. by stretching. I then went to the kitchen at 7:00 to eat my breakfast. This I had hot ceareal with a toasted biscuit. Once I had finished eating my breakfast, I went to my bathroom to brush my teeth. I then took an air flo reading. 450, 470, 450. I then proceeded to do my arm and leg exercises with weights. At 7:50 I then got on the swin air dine for thirty minutes. At 8:25 I then took my shower. I then grabbed my lunch and my duffle bag and went by the door to wait for United to arrive. Upon my arrivel to WestSide for 11:00 a.m. I had my P.T. session with Nichole who is a rehab tech filling in for Dan while on vacation. We spent the hour doing cognitive exercises instead of physical. Nichole and I sat in front of a computer. While doing so, she had me doing a memory match game. Where you turn one card over and you try to find the other. Each time I became a little better and my time decreased. At 12:00 I then went to the dining area to eat my lunch with Paul, Matt, Kay, Tina, and Michelle the rehab tech who had lunch duty. Once I had finished eating at 1:00 I then went to conferance room A for support group. Today Tina, Todd, Denise, Dee Dee, and I talked about how we deal with our feelings. After checking in, we then discussed questions like: Recognizing changes, When your disability interferes with your life, what do you tell people? At 2:00 Roland from United took me and Tina home. Upon my arrivel home at 3:30 I went straight to my bedroom to begin to do my stretching and leg and arm weight exercises. At 5:00 I then took my shower, getting comfortable before sitting down to blog. I then went to eat my dinner, before calling it a day.

THANK YOU SHARLENE!!!
I began my Tuesday morning at 5:30 a.m. by doing my stretching exercises. Once I was loosened up, I then went to the kitchen to eat my breakfast. Once I had drank my cocoa and had three english muffin halves, I then went back to my bedroom to do my weight exercises. After doing so, I then took my shower getting ready for my day ahead. Little did I know someone special was going to make my day. Once I was ready, I grabbed my lunch and my bag with that I keep important things in to use while I am at WestSide to go sit by the door to wait for United Wheelchair to arrive. Upon my arrivel to WestSide for my 9:00 a.m. appointment with Deb, She had taken me to the Sharlenes office to work out my flight schedule. Once we had done so, the session was pretty much done. At 10:00 during finding meaning group Doug and I went over ideas of things to work on in up coming groups. We also have to come in with a spacific topic next week. At 11:00 during my break, I went to the dining area to eat half of my lunch. I then went up to see the Sally the Nurse. While working with medical issues with sally before leaving on my trip she tested my breathing. Like the nursing staff on duty at the camp. At 12:00 I then went back to the kitchen to finish eating my lunch. At 12:30 I then left to go home on United. Before laying down to rest at 2:00 I took an air flo reading. 460, 500, 380. I had slept until 4:15 before getting up to take a shower. I then sat down to blog before eating dinner. First I took an air flo reading: 500, 400, 400.

Hamburgers on the grill
I began my Monday morning at 7:30 a.m. by doing my stretching for thirty minutes. I then continued with my weight workout both arm and legs. I then went to the kitchen to eat my breakfast. My mother had dropped egg on toast with sausage. When I had finished eating at 9:00, I then brushed my teeth before riding the swin air dine for thiry minutes. I then took an air flo reading; 500, 420, 420. At 9:30 I took a walk up the driveway. At 10:00 I then went inside to take a shower and to get ready for my day ahead. After taking my shower, I then sat down in my recliner to read the newspaper. At 10:30 I began to feel tired, so I then lied down to rest at 10:30. I was so tired I had slept until 1:45. I then went out into the kitchen to have a bowl of soup for lunch. I then went on facebook to play words with friends. At 2:40 I took an air flo reading; 440, 490, 430. at 3:50 I then went to my bedroom to do my stretching. At 4:20 I then began to do my arm weight exercises. At 5:00 I then went to the kitchen to eat dinner. Hamburger on the grill, potato salad, and corn on the cob, mm mm. Once I had finished eating at 5:30 I then went to my bedroom to do my leg exercises with my ankle weights. At 5:40 I then took an air flo reading; 420, 440, 470. I then sat down at my computer to blog.

Cribbage with Grandma
I began my Sunday morning at 8:20 a.m. by going out into the kitchen to drink my cocoa and eat a bowl of cereal with bananna. I also had half toasted english muffin with O.J. Once I had finished eating, I then went back into my bedroom to take my shower and get ready to go to church. Once I was ready, my mother and I went to the Pierce House to pick up my grandmother, who is now fealing comfortable enough to step out of her comfort zone and go to church. A step beyound from how she was going, by watching mass on television. After mass let out, I went to get a fruit smoothy to cool myself down. We arrived home at 12:10. Once inside and settled, I then sat down to play cribbage with my grandmother. After three games of cribbage, my mother then joined us in a game of tock. At 3:00 I had talk to some friends on the telephone until 4:00. I then sat down to eat dinner with my parents and grandmother. At 4:30 I then went to my bedroom to stretch. At 5:00 I picked up the kitchen while my mother brought my grandmother home. At 5:10 I then went back to my bedroom to do my leg and arm exercises. I then took an air flo reading: 550, 430, 420. At 6:00 I then took my shower to get comfortable for the night

IT IS NOW 100% SPOTLESS
I began my Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. by going out into the kitchen to drink my hot cocoa while my mother made french toast and sausage for breakfast. I had finished eating at 9:45, I then went back to my bedroom to change my bed, thus putting on clean sheets. After doing so, I then went into my bathroom to shave and brush my teeth. I then went downstairs at 10:00 to ride the swin air dine for thirty minutes. After getting the newspaper, I then went to my bedroom to do my weight exercises, both leg and arm until 11:00. I then took an hour and a half to thoroughly clean my bathroom. At 12:40 I then filled my pill containers for the week before laying down to rest. I had slept from 12:40 until 2:40 before getting up to eat a bowl corn chowder for lunch. At 3:00 I then went back to my bedroom to stretch. At 3:30 I then took a ride to Sears with my father, to exchange an item he had purchased. From there we took a ride to camp. While there my dad had laoded some wood into his truch from a tree that had been recently cut down. Once my dad had loaded the wood into the truck, we then returned home. Upon my arrivel home at 5:30 I went to my bedroom to do my weight and stretching exercises. I then took my shower before taking an air flo reading; 450, 460, 440. I then sat down to blog, before eating dinner.

The Home Stretch
I began my Friday morning, My day from going to WestSide, at 9:15 a.m. Once I was up, I went out into the kitchen to make myself a bananna sandwhich for breakfast. Once I had finished eating and drinking my cocoa, I then made my way back to my bedroom at 9:40 to brush my teeth. before going downstairs to ride the swin air dine for thirty minutes. Once I was finished with my ride, I then made my way to my bedroom to do my weight exercises leg and arm. At 10:50 I then began to do my stretching. I am already getting tired as I write this blog entree. At 11:25 I then took my first air flo reading of the day. 500, 430, 460. At 11:45 I then went to the kitchen to make myself a grilled cheese and tomato sandwhich. Once I had finished eating I then brushed my teeth before laying down to rest. I had slept from 12:20 unitl 3:00 before getting up. I was then right back at it. Down stairs I went to ride for thirty minutes. At 3:30 my mother arrived home with a nice mango smoothy for me to drink. The weather today was weired. Humid but damp. At 3:30 I went to my bedroom to begin doing my weight exercises, once again. It took me once again thirty minutes, Not that I am trying to break any records or anything, but there you have it. It was now creeping up on the 4:00 p.m. hour, time to begin mu stretching. Ahhh the home stretch. 4;30 TIME TO HIT THE SHOWER. Once I was out and comfortable I then took another air flo reading. 500, 470, 430. I then sat down to blog at 5:00 before eating dinner.

resting heat rate and working heart rate almost an perfect match
I began my Thursday morning at 6:00 a.m. by non other then stretching my muscles to loosen them up for the day. Once I had done so, I then went to the kitchen to eat a bananna sandwhich for breakfast. At 7:00 I then went back to my bedroom to brush my teeth. I then continued stretching and then doing my leg and arm weight exercises. At 7:30 I then went downstairs to ride the swin air dine for thirty minutes. I then went to my room to take my shower and get ready for my day ahead. Once I had done so, I then took an air flo reading. 450, 500, 460. United then picked me up a short time after. Upon my arrivel to WestSide, I went into talk with Brian, or Dr. Ablitz I should say. My dis cussions with him are personal so I will reframe from any detail I usually give. At 11:00 I then made my way down to the gym for my P.T. session with Dan. Dan first started by taking my resting blod pressure, 110 over 80. I then rode ten minutes on level ten and five minutes on level five on th Nu Step. My working blood pressure was 118 over 80. Once I had finished with the Nu Step, Dan then strapped the gate belt around my waist and we took off walking around the bottum level at WestSide. We normally would go outside, but WestSide is in the process of doing the parking lot over. Once I had completed my ten laps around, I then went back into the gym at 11:40 to do leg raises forward, backward and side to side with ankle weights on, while standing in the parallel bars. Dan also has me stand on my tip toes, heels, and march in place. At noon Sam from United took me to my doctors appointment at Farmington Family Practice. Once I had finished with my appiontment David the p.a. sent me to have lab work done and a chest x-ray. At 2:40 Sam continued to take me home. Upon my arrivel home at 2:55 I had put my lunch dish's in the sink before riding the swin air dine for thirty minutes. At 3:15 I then helped my mother in with groceries before laying down to rest at 3:30. I had slept until 5:00 before getting up to stretch. At 6:15 I then took a shower before going out into the kitchen to eat dinner. At 7:00 I then took an air flo reading: 500, 480, 440. I then sat down to blog.

Expressing uncomfortable feelings in support group
I began my Wendesday morning at 6:00 a.m. by getting up and going out into the kitchen to eat two cinnamon muffins with a bananna and cantalope for breakfast. Once I had finished eating, I then went back to my bedroom to beging my workout. Once I had brushed my teeth, I then stretched before doing my weight exercises, both arm and leg. At 7:20 I then went downstairs to ride the swin air dine for thirty minutes to get in that cardio workout. At 7:50 I then went to my bedroom to take my shower and get ready for my day ahead. Once I was ready, I then brought my lunch and duffle bag to the door. I then went back to my bedroom to take and air flo reading; 480, 420, 440. My ride showed up at 9:30 thus getting me to WestSide for my 11:00 a.m. P.T. appointment with Dan. Once in the gym Dan first took my resting heart rate. 110 over 74. I then worked out on the Nu Step. Dan then took my working heart rate. 112 over 72. my time on the Nu step 20.09 time, 1.26 miles, 114 calories. Dan then strapped the gate belt around my waist. We then took off walking around the bottum level at WestSide. I averaged 1600 feet in eleven minutes and thirty seconds. At 11:40 Dan had me in the parallel bars with ankel weights on doing leg raises. forward, backward, and side to side. He alos had me standing on my toes and heels. At 12:00 I then went to the dining area to eat my lunch. Once I had finished eating, I then made my way up to the conference room for support group. Denise, Tina, Dee Dee, Todd, and I Worked on answering questions from week 17 "Expressing uncomfortable feelings" but first we read the recovery card. Some or the questions we had answered were, Do you feel guilty of the result of your injury? What do you do when you feel sorrow or anger? What do you do to make your situation more acceptable? At 2:00 United took me home. I arrived home at 3:15. Once inside I called United Wheel Chair. to make sure the time was set up correctly for transportation to my Doctors appointment tomorrow. At 3:30 I then did my stretching and weight workout. Once I had finished I then took a shower before eating dinner. At 6:05 I then went to my bedroom to call my friend Stacie to talk before sitting down to type out my blog. Before calling it a day I took an air flo reading. 400, 470, 500.

Finalizing my trip to Tennessee with Deb
I began my Tuesday morning at 6:00 a.m. by going out to the kitchen to eat my breakfast. Once I had finished eating my cereal and enlish muffin, I then went back into my bedroom to at 6:30 to stretch and to do my weight exercises. Once I had finished my morning workout I then took an air flo reading. 500, 500, 490. Excellant, for now. I then took my shower getting myself ready to go to theropy. United had arrived at 7:45. We then had to go pick Donald up before continuing our journy to WestSide. Upon our arrivel for 9:00 a.m. I had gone into the conference room along with Donald, Matt, and David to do yoga with Michelle, Carol, and a rehab tech in training Florena. We first started froup with breathing exercises. Which for at this time has been merely impossible, do to my lung damage do to the stroke. Then some of the exercises we had done were: sun salutation this is were you twist at the waist, Palm Tree this is were you raise your arms then put them down to your side. We then did some relaxation on a mat on the floor before ending the group. At 10:00 during Finding Meaning Group: I began to tallk to Jennifer about blind camp I am going to while waiting for Doug to show up. Once Doug had arrived, he and I worked on the topic Goals and actions around the topics with your health, Life, and work. I then went to the dining area to spend my thirty minute break between theropy. At 11:30 I went to Sally's office for my nursing session. During my session with Sally we went to Deb's office. She is the rehab tech helping me with my trip to the blind camp. While working with Deb on my trip, the Nurse Sally Used an Oxymeter on my finger. It stayed about 96 the entire session. As far as what I had accomplished with Deb. After talking with Scott it is as follows: Camp is june 10-18, I will be staying with Scott June 8-9th, and after camp until the 22nd to do some sight seeing. It sounds like an exciting trip. I can not wait!!! At 12:00 I then went to the dining area to eat my lunch with others. At 1:00 United Wheel Chair took Tina and I home. Upon my arrivel home at 2:00 I immediatly jumped on the swin air dine for thirty minutes. At 2:30 I then went to my bedroom to do my weight exercises both leg and arm. At 3:45 I called United Wheel Chair to see if my transportation was all set to go to my Doctors appointment Thursday after my theropy at WestSide. At 4:00 I then talked to a friend on the telephone before taking my shower. I then watched part of a movie before eating dinner. At 6:00 I then went to the kitchen to eat, I was then back in my bedroom to take an air flo reading 480, 500, 480. I then sat down to type my blog. Few, What a day!

On the move
I begn my Monday morning at 5:30 a.m. by doing my stretching and weight exercises. Once I had completed my morning routine, I then took my first air flo reading of the day: 440, 460, 470. At 7:00 I then went downstairs to ride the swin air dine for thirty minutes. I then went out to get the newspaper. Once I was back inside, I then sat down to eat my breakfast. As I was eating, Scott called about extending my trip. At 8:00 I then went to get ready to go te rehab. Once I had cleaned my bathroom, I then grabbed my bags, thus bringing them to the door. I then sat there to wait for United to arrive. Upon my arrivel I had P.T. with Dan. Dan first took my blood pressure. 108 over 72. I then got on the New Step. I had in level 3 the first half of my ride then 4 the second half. My time was a 20 minute ride. Distance 1.12 miles. Dan then took my working blood pressure, 106 over 74. Dan then had me walking around WestSide without the gate belt on. I walked around 6 times going 1,000 feet. At 11:35 Dan then had me on a mat doing leg stretch's and raises. At 12:00 I then had a support session with Deb. We continued to work on the planning of my trip. Once I had eaten my lunch, I then talked durring my case management session about things. I arrived home at 2:35. Once Inside, I immediatly got on the swin air dine for thirty minutes. I then went to my bedroom to stretch and to do my weight exercises. At 3:35 I took an air flo reading. 480, 480, 460. I then sat in my recliner and fell asleep for an hour. Once I was up I took a shower before dinner. I then went out into the kitchen to eat a B.L.T.

I can't keep up
I began my Sunday morning at 7:30 a.m. by going out into the kitchen to eat fruit and drink my hot cocoa. Once I had done so, I then went downstairs to ride the swin air dine for thirty minutes. At 8:30 I then hung a load of laundry out to dry. Once I had eaten my breakfast, I then went to my bedroom to do my weight exercises, both leg and arm. You know there are some days I wish it would just happen over night and I would be back to the way things were before the stroke. OH WELL!!! At 9:25 I then began to do my stretching. down on the home stretch of this mornings workout. At 9:45 I shaved, took my shower thus getting ready to go to church. Once I was completely ready, I then took my first air flo reading of the day. 530, 500, 480. At 10:00 my father had brought mt to church. Once church was let out my father was there to pick my up. It is rough not being able to drive, but I get by. One my dad had picked me up, he then took me to the shop to give me a haircut. I arrived home at 12:10. Once I was changed into something more comfortable, I then took another air flo reading: 450, 350, 450. After speaking to a friend on the telephone, I then began a load of laundry at 1:00. While it was washing, I had made myself some lunch. At 1:35 I started the dishwasher. I then went to the wash room to get the laundry to hang out to dry. I then was feeling a bit tired, so I decided to lay down. I had slept for two hours before getting up at 4:00 to empty the dishwasher, thus putting the dish's away. I then had made my lunch for tomorrow, before going to ride the swin air dine again for thirty minutes. At 5:00 I then took in the laundry off the clothing line, thus putting it away. Once I had done so I then did my leg and arm exercises using weight. At 5:45 I then did my stretching, while watching the news. At 6:20 I then took my shower before going out to the kitchen to eat dinner. At 6:30 I then took my last air flo reading: 360, 480, 460. I then sat down to blog.

A visit from my Aunt Joan
I began my Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. by going out into the kitchen to eat eggs toast and a popover for breakfast. At 9:15 I then returned to my bedroom at 9:15 to brush my teeth. At 9:25 I then went downstairs to ride the swin air dine for thirty minutes. I then returned to my bedroom to to do my leg and arm exercises with my weights. I then continued by doing my stretching exercise until 10:30. Once I had finished my workout, I then took my shower, thus getting ready to go for the day. I then took my first air flo reading of the day 470, 460, 460. At 11:30 Mom and I went to grandma's to pick up my grandmother and my aunt Joan who was up here from Florida visiting. We went to a restaraunt in Wilton to eat lunch. Once we had finished eating, we had left to go back home at 1:30. We arrived home at 2:10 after making a couple of stops along the way. Once inside I had gone straight to bed. I was so tired from this mornings workout I had slept three hours until 5:10 before getting up. I then took an air flo reading: 500, 450, 400. I then went out into the kitchen to visist with my Aunt Joan. While talking with her I had brought my lap top out into the kitchen and she had showed me a web site with casino games. The best part is, you don't lose any money. At 6:30 I then took my shower. I then went out into the kitchen to eat dinner with my aunt Joan and my mother, Once we had finished eating, we then said good-night. I then went to my bedroom to blog. Before going to beg I had taken one last air flo reading. 510, 550, 500!!!

To schedule and reschdule
I began my Friday morning at 8:00 a.m. by going out into the kitchen to drink my hot cocoa and to make myself a bananna sandwhich for breakfast. Once I had finished eating, I then went back to my bedroom to strip my bed and bring my sheets to the washroom to begin a load of laundry. I then went upstaires to wash some dish's that were in the sink. I then went to my bathroom to brush my teeth. once I had done so, I then took my first air flo reading: 460, 480, 470. At 9:20 I then called my doctors office to reschedule my appointment. At 9:30 I called WestSide to talk to Mellissa the receptionist about transprtation that day. She then in turn called United before calling me back. At 9:20 I then hung a load of laundry on the clothing line to dry. At 10:00 I then went back downstairs to ride the swin air dine for thirty minutes. At 10:30 I then went back to my bedroom to do my leg and arm exercises with weights. At 10:50 I then began to do my stretching. Once I had finished stretching I then dusted and picked up my bedroom. At 11:45 I took a walk out to the mail box to get the mail. Once I was back inside I then took my shower before going back out into the kitchen to eat my lunch. At 12:45 I then washed the dish's before taking in laundry from the clothing line. Once I had put it away, I then lied down to rest. I had slept from 1:00 until 3:10 before getting up. I began to do my stretching at 3:45. At 4:10 I then did my weight exercises both arm and leg. At 5:15 I then took my shower getting comfortable for the evening. I then took an air flo reading: 480, 460, 500. I then went out to the kitchen to eat dinner with my parents. We had tuna rolls with lettuce and tomato on a toasted roll. At 6:30 I then took another air flo reading; 500, 460, 450 before sitting down at my computer to do my daily blog.

FRUSTRATION!!!!!!!!!!
I began my Thursday morning at 6:00 a.m. by going out into the kitchen to eat my breakfast. My mother had made me dropped egg on toast, before getting herself ready to go to work. Once I had finished eating, I then went to my bedroom to brush my teeth before starting my morning workout. I first began to do my stretching at 6:30, Thus taking a half an hour before turning over to my arm and leg weight exercises. I did so until 7:15. RRRRR when is this foot of mine ever going to get stronger. I feel that it is the weekest link towards making a full recovery physically. Then there is my breathing, but that is another issue within itself. I then made my way downstairs to ride the swin air dine for thirty minutes. At 7:50 I began a load of laundry. While the wash was washing, I took my shower getting ready for my day ahead. At 8:30 I cleaned my bathroom. I then took an air flo reading 500, 480, 460, before bringing my things down to the door. At 8:45 I then hung the laundry out to dry. I then went in to wash some dish's that were in the sink. I then went to the door to wait for my ride. Upon my arrivel to WestSide for 10:30 a.m. I meet with Dr. Ablitz. We talked about things going on in the week and my frustrations do to the stroke. Upon my arrivel to WestSide I went straight to the gym for my P.T. session with Dan. First Dan took my resting blood pressure. 110 over 80. I then went on the Nu Step. I did level 3 for ten minutes but found it to easy so I then did ten minutes on level 4. That was giving those legs a workout. At the end of the workout I had averaged 116 calories and 1.24 miles. Dan then took my working blood pressure: 112 over 80. Once I had finished with P.T. I then went to the dining area to eat my lunch before going home. I arrived home at 2:15. Upon doing so I went to the clothing line to bring in the laundry and put it away. At 3:50 I then went downstairs to ride the swin air dine. My parents had arrived home shortly after. At 3:30 I then went to my bedroom to do some stretching. I then did my leg and arm weight exercises before taking my shower. Once I was comfortable I took an air flo reading: 430, 490, 480. I then sat down to blog before eating dinner. What a day!

Booking my flight to Tennessee
I began my Wednesday morning at 6:00 a.m. by going out into the kitchen to drink my hot cocoa and eat oatmeal and english muffin for breakfast, along with half of a bananna Once I had finished my with my breakfst, I then went back to my bedroom at 6:40 to brush my teeth and to make my bed. At 6:50 I then took my first air flo reading of the day: 440, 490, 470. I then began to do my stretching exercises. Once I had done so I then did my leg exercises, with ankle weights around my ankles. At 7:40 I took a brief break to shave before doing my weight exercises with my arms. At 8:00 I then went downstairs to ride the swin air dine for fifteen minutes before going back to my bedroom to take my shower and get ready for my day ahead. At 9:30 United arrived to transport me to WestSide Neouro Rehabilitation services. Upon my arrivel for my 11:00 a. m. P.T. appointment with Dan I had Pat the receptionist buzz me in so that I could go down to the gym to meet Dan. Dan first took my resting blood pressure which happen to be 120 over 80. I first did twenty minutes on the Nu Step going 1.25 miles. Dan then strapped the gate belt around my waist and we went outside to walk around the parking lot for twenty minutes. At 11:40 we were back in the gym. After taking a brief break, Dan then had me in the parallel bars doing leg lifts and leg extensions with ankle weights on.
After I was finished with P.T. I then went to the kitchen to eat my lunch. It being on the same floor as the gym, maked it an easy transition, going from point A to point B. Deb then called me to her office at 12:30 so that we could work on my flight reservation to Tennessee. We did so from 12:30 until 1:10. We then both went into support group. While in support group: Todd, Denise, Tina, Dee Dee, and I first read the recovery card with Deb and Diana. We then read the objectives for week 16 "Loss and exceptance." What does the word loss mean to you? Making fun of yourself to cope with your injury. How do you except the way your life has become? These are a few of the questions discussed during todays support group. I arrived home at 3:20. Chanting my name Troyyyyyyyyyy during Yoga group
I began my Tuesday morning at 5:30 a.m. by going out into the kitchen to eat some bananna and strawberries while drinking my hot cocoa. Once I had done so, I then had a bowl of hot cereal and toasted english muffin fot breakfast. At 6:00 I then went to my bedroom to brush my teeth. Once I had done so, I then began to do my stretching exercises. Once I had done my weight exercises, I then took my shower, continuing to get ready for my day ahead. I then grabbed my lunch and my bag of goodies, thus going by the door to weight for United to to arrive. I soon found myself on WestSides door step at 8:55, giving myself just enough time to put my lunch in the refrigeratot downstairs and my things in my locker. I then made my way back up to the conference room for Yoga group with Michelle. David, Donald, and I first started off with deep breating exercises, which I am still having a hard time to do. I am unable to take a deep enough breath it is more shallow then anything. At 9:15 we then used the wii fit. working on strength training. A palm tree was one of the exercises we worked on. We then ended the session with a chant. Breathing in and saying our name troyyyyyyyy, as long as we could. At 10:00 I then went to Finding Meaning Group with Jennifer. Today Doug and I discussed intentions in our life in the areas of physical, mental, emotional well being. At 11:00 I then went to the lobby to sit during my break to read and talk with others who may be sitting out there too. At 11:30 I then went to Sally's office for my Nursing session. Sally first took my blood pressure 126 over 66. Sally then thanked me for the birthday cards my mother and I had sent to her. She had helped my sister so much dealing with medical issues while I was in the hospital. Sally then called Dr. Augers office about my breathing problems. No answere yet, but I will be receiving a call at home. At 12:00 I then went to the dining area to eat my lunch before going home at 12:30 with Tina on United. I arrived home at 2:00. Once I was inside I went to my bedroom to lay down immediatly. I had slept until 4:10 before getting up to do my stretching and weight exercises. At 5:00 I then took my shower before going out into the kitchen to eat dinner. One I had finished eating, I then took an air flo reading 520, 470, 490. I then typed out my blog before going to bed.

Making flight resrvation with Deb for my trip
I began my Monday morning at 7:00 a.m. by going out into the kitchen to eat a bananna sandwhich for breakfast along with my hot cocoa, and a glass of orange juice. Once I had finished eating I then went into my bedroom to brush my teeth and do my leg and arm exercises with weights. At 7:45 I then began to stretch. At 8:10 I then took my shower getting ready to go to WestSide. Once I was ready, I then brought my lunch and duffle bag to the door. I then went back to my bedroom to go on my Ipad to play words with friends while waiting for my ride. My bedroom window overlooks the driveway, which makes it convenient while waiting for my ride. While I was waiting, I also took an air flo reading. 470, 480, 500. United had arrived to pick me up at 9:30. I was soon on my way. Upon my arrivel to WestSide for my 11:00 a.m. P.T. session with Dan. I first had asked Mellissa to let me in. I then went downstairs to put my lunch in the refrigerator in one of the kitchens. I then went to the gym to wait for Dan to start my P.T. session. Dan first took my resting blood pressure 108 over 74. I then used the Nu Step twenty minutes going 1.15 miles burning 84 calories. Dan then took my working blood pressure 108 over 72. At 11:30 Dan strapped the gate belt around my waist and together we went walking outside. Once we had made two trips around the parking lot, we then went back into the gym. Once inside, I rested briefly before going into the parallel bars to do leg raises with ankle weights. At 12:00 I had my support session with Deb. She and I continued to work on the plans for my trip to Tenessee with the National Camps for the Blind. At 12:30 I then went to the dining area to eat my lunch. Once I had finished my lunch, I then went upstairs to meet with Piper my casemanager. We touched upon how my theropy is going and how my weekend went. I then went to the lobby to meet the United driver who was taking me home. I arrived home at 2:30. Once inside I went straight to my bedroom to lay down. I had slept for two hours before getting up at 4:30. I then went downstairs to ride the swin air dine. Once I had finished riding, I then went to my bedroom to do my weight exercises leg and arm before doing my stretching. At 6:00 I then took my shower before going out to eat my dinner with my mother. My father was in Scarborough visiting my sister. Once I had finished eating I then took an air flo reading. 500, 510, 470. After doing so I then sat down to blog.

Happy Mother's Day
I began my Sunday morning at 8:00 a.m. by going out into the kitchen to eat fruit and drink my hot cocoa with my sister Barbara while my mother made pop overs for breakfast. Once I had eaten breakfast I then went to brush my teeth. At 8:30 I then went downstairs to ride the swin air dine for thirty minutes. At 9:00 I then went to my bedroom to do my weight exercises both leg and arm. At 9:25 I then began to stretch. Once I had done so I then took my first air flo reading. 530, 540, 520. I then took my shower, thus getting ready to go to church. After mass as I was walking out of the church, the priest looked at me and said, "Your improving every week." They were handing out carnations today, a donation could be made if you so chose. I had made a $5.00 donation and took one flower. I arrived home at 11:40. Once inside I went to my bedroom to take an air flo reading. 490, 480, 450. Not as good as earlier this morning, but I was happy with the results just the same. At 11:40 we had odderves while opening mothers day cards and gifts. My grandmother, mother, father, sister, and I. Once doing so, I was feeling a little tired, so I had layed down to rest at 12:00 and slept until 2:00. Once I was up we had then ate dinner. We had B.B.Q.'d chicken and pork along with corn on the cob and stuffed zucchini. We also had condiments. At 2:50 I then brushed my teeth before sitting down to play cribbage with my grandmother. At 3:45 I then had a piece of cake which my sister had made. At 4:00 my dad and I took my grandmother back home to the Pierce House. We had meet my sister there who had stopped by to see my grandmother at her place before going home. I arrived back home at 4:30. Once Inside I went straight to my bedroom to do my weight exercises. both leg and arm. First I had taken an air flo reading. 490, 460, 490. At 5:10 I then did my stretching before taking my shower. I then took one more air flo reading 460, 510, 450 before sitting down to blog. At 6:30 I then called it a day.

Flowers for Mother's Day
I began my Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. by going out into the kitchen to drink my hot cocoa and to eat fruit grapes, bananna, watermelon along with fruit dip. Once I had finished with the fruit, I then had french toast. Once I had finished eating, I then brushed my teeth before calling the pharmacy to order my medication. At 9:35 I then went downstairs to ride the swin airdine for thirty minutes. While I was downstairs, I went into the wash room to get the laundry to hang on the clothing line outside. At 10:15 I then went to my bedroom to do my leg exercises with the weights. I then called the flourist to have flowers delivered to my mother for Mother's Day. Once I had made my bed, at 11:00 I took an air flo reading 500, 510, 510 !!!!!!!!!!!! At 11:10 I then began to do my stretching. Once I had done so I then took a shower before watching the news. At 1:00 I then took a ride to my grandmothers with my sister. While there we took my granmother out for a ride while we did errands. We first stopped at Rite Ade, Hannaford, and Wal-Mart. We then brought my grandmother back to the Pierce House. My sister and I arrived home at 2:45. Once inside I had a bowl of soup before laying down to rest at 3:00. I had slept until 5:45 before getting up and going out into the kitchen to have odderves with my parents and sister. At 6:00 I then went to my bedroom to do my leg exercises, followed by some stretching. Once I had done so I then took my shower at 6:30 followed by an air flo reading. 450, 510, 510. I then sat down to do my blog before eating dinner with my family. I then brushed my teeth and took one more air flo reading at 8:00 before going to bed. 490, 480, 480.

WOW! I hit 550 in an air flo reading.
I began my Friday morning at 9:00 a.m. Being my day off from theropy I took advantage of the extra time to catch some zzzzzzz. Once I was up I went out ino the kitchen to eat my breakfast. I had made myself peanutbutter and honey on a toasted english muffin. Once I had finished eating my breakfast I then washed the dish's, thus picking up the kitchen. At 9:40 I then made my way back into my bedroom so as to brush my teeth and make my bed. At 9:55 I then took my first air flo reading of the day; 550, 490, 510. I then made my way downstairs to ride the swin air dine for thirty minutes. Once I had finished riding, I stayed downstairs to fold the laundry that had dried on the clothing rack. Once I had put it away, I then went to my bedroom at 11:00 to begin doing my leg exercises. Strengthening my legs has been the most important thing to me ever since I began rehab. " I WILL RUN AGAIN!" I then took another air flo reading at noon before sitting down to watch the news. 520, 470, 480. At 12:30 I then lied down to rest. I had slept until 3:10 before getting up to exercise. Stretching and weight exercise. At 3:50 I then called my grandmother to see how her day was going. I then continued to exercise. At 5:00 I took a shower. Once I had done so, I went to the kitchen to eat dinner with my parents. After a bowl of clam chowder, I went to my bedroom to take another air flo reading. 490, 490, 510. I have to say, my lungs are getting stronger, but not strong enough yet. At 6:30 I sat down to blog, before calling it day.

Working on balance during P.T.
I began my Thursday morning at 6:00 a.m. by making my way into the kitchen to eat homefries and oatmeal for breakfast. Once I had finished eating, I then made my way back to my bedroom to begin my daily stretching. At 7:00 I then took an air flo reading: 440, 420, 470. I then got down on the floor and strapped the ankle weights on and began to do my leg lifts. I then went downstairs to ride for thirty minutes. I then went back upstairs to my bedroom to take a shower and get ready for my day ahead. At 8:30 I then went downstairs to fold laundry that was dry. At 8:00 I then started another load of laundry before putting the dry laundry away. At 8:40 I then hung that load to dry before leaving on United Wheelchair to go to WestSide. Upon my arrivel, I had my 10:30 appointment with Dr. Brian Ablitz. Together we through ideas around of where I would like to live, Once I get ready to move out on my own again. At 11:00 I then had my P.T. session with Dan. Before beginning to exercise Dan took my resting heart rate. 110 over 80. I then rode the Nu Step for fifteen minutes. I went .90 miles, burning .75 calories, Dan then took my working heart rate: 118 over 78. At 11:25 Dan then had me in the parallel bars working on balance. With my feet close together and arms crossed I was able to stand still without losing my balance for one minute and ten seconds. With right foot in front of left foot and arms crossed I was able to stand fifty seconds without losing my balance. Dan then had me stepping up on a platform. I did 23 times stepping to the left. 16 times alternate step forward approach left and 27 times with right foot. Once I was done with P.T. I then went to the dining area to eat my lunch at 12:00. Once I had finished eating I then went to the lobby to wait for United to take me home. I arrived home at 2;20. Once Inside I started a load of laundry thus washing my sweat suits. At 2:45 I then rode the swin air dine for thirty minutes while the wash was going. At 3:15 I then hung the laundry to dry. At 3:30 I then did my leg exercises with weights. Once I had finished stretching, I then took my shower before sitting down to blog at 5:00. I then took an air flo reading: 460, 480, 430

Walking 1600 feet on the bottom level at WestSide during P.T. ten laps non stop an all time record!
I began my Wednesday morning at 7:00 a.m. bright eyed and bushy tailed walking into the kitchen to eat my breakfast. I barely had my eyes opened when sitting down at the kitchen table to eat my oatmeal and a glazed pastry. Once I had finished eating, I then went back to my bedroom to begin to stretch. I did so until 8:30. I then took my shower getting ready for my day ahead. At 9:15 I then took my first air flo reading of the day. 450, 490, 490. I then gathered my things and went to the door to wait for my ride. I arrived at WestSide Neourorehabilitation services at 11:00 a.m. just in time for my physical theropy appointment with Dan. Once in the gym, Dan first had me on the Nu Step. First Dan took my resting blood pressure 114 over 82. I then went twenty minutes on the Nu Step before Dan to my Working blood pressure which was 118 over 84. Dan then strapped a gait belt around my waist and we took off walking around the bottum level at WestSide. I had made ten laps around with Dan holding onto the gait belt. This averaged out to be 1600 feet. Once I had finished my walk with Dan, I then went in the gym to rest. Once I had caught my breath Dan had me in the parallel bars with two pound weight around my ankles doing leg raises. forward, backward, and to the side. once I was through with my P.T. session with Dan, I then went into the dinning area to eat my lunch with Randy, Mat, Dan, Denise, Tina, and Tobie. It was a small crowed today for some reason. Once I had finished eating I then went up to the conerence room to wait for support group to begin at 1:00. During support group; Denise, Tina, Dee Dee, and I first read the reacovery card together, John and Nancy then had us answering questions from week 15 Feeling about self. Some of the questions that were open for discussion were, What behaviors help you deny your injury? How do feelings about yourself effect your ability to interact with others? Oce I was done of support group I then left for home. I arrived home at 3:30. Immediatly going to my bedroom to stretch and do my weight exercises with my legs. At 4:20 I then took my shower before going to the kitchen to eat my dinner. Once I had finished eating I then went back to my bedroom to take an air flo reading. 460, 480, 440. I then sat down at my computer to do my blog. I then took another air flo reading, 490, 490, 490. I then called it a day.

On the Wii balance board during Yoga ggroup
I began my Tuesday morning at 6:00 a.m. by going out into the kitchen to eat my breakfast. I had some oatmeal with enlish muffin while drinking my hot cocoa. Once I had finished eating, I then went back to by bedroom to get ready for my day ahead. Once I was completely ready, I then took an air flo reading: 470, "500!!!" 450. I then grabbed my lunch and my duffel bag with my things in it and I was on my way to WestSide. Upon my arrivel for 9:00 a.m. I went to the kitchen to stick my lunch in the refrigerator before going up to the conference room for Yoga Group with Michelle. Once in the conference room Michelle and Carol had Donald, Matt, Dave, and I on the wii fit. We were using the wii balance board. you talk about hard, What we were doing was suppose to improve our balance. I have no balance to improve. It was also testing our posture which I recieved an A+ on. We were then each given out own mat to use to do some yoga on the floor. At 10:00 I then went to finding meaning group. Today Jennifer had Doug and answere questions on life's purpose and how to get support. At 11:00 during my break I went to the dining area to eat a yogurt. After doing so I made my way back up to the lobby to wait for my next theropy at 11:30. During my Nursing session with Sally, she first to my blood pressure 112 over 72. We then talked about other medical concerns. United then picked me up along with two other patients from WestSide who just happen to be in wheelchairs. I arrived home at 2:15 and went strait to bed, I was so tired. I had slept until 4:45, before getting up to do my leg exercises. I then did my stretching before going out into the kitchen to eat dinner. I then took an air flo reading; "500!!!" 480, 490. Once I had done so I then took my shower before sitting down to blog.

Continuing to plan for my trip with the National Camps for the Blind with Deb
I began my Monday morning at 7:00 a.m. by doing my stretcning. At 7:30 I then went to the kitchen to drink my cocoa and eat fruit. I then had oatmeal and toast. At 8:00 I then returned to my bedroom to take my shower and get ready for my day, before taking my lunch and things down by the door, I took an air flo reading: 480, 420, 470. After doing so, I then brought my things to the door, thus sitting there to wait for United Wheelchair to arrive. I soon arrived at WestSide at 10:15 to give me enough time to put my lunch in the refrigerator in the kitchen. I then went into the gym to wait for Amanda to start my P.T. session. Amanda first had me walking outside. We did two laps around WestSide, without my brace or the use of my cane. Don't worry, she had the gate belt on holding for dear life, for Safety. We then went back into the gym. She had me laying on the mat first doing leg raises. Once I had finished with those, Amanda then had me going out to the side with my legs. At 11:00 I then I continued my P.T. time with Dan. Dan first had me on the Nu Step. Before starting Dan first took my blood pressure. 110 over 76. I then rode the Nu Step for 20:05 going 1.26 miles and burning 93 calories. My blood pressure then read 110 over 80. After I was finished riding, Dan then had me in the parallel bars doing leg raises forward, backward, and to the side. Dan then had me sitting on the theropy ball doing leg raises. At 12:00 I then had a support session with Deb. We first called NCBC to find out information. We then continued to talk about the trip. At 12:30 I then went to the Kitchen to eat my lunch. Once I had finished eating I then had my case management session with Piper. At 1:15 I then left to go home. I arrived home at 2:45, thus starting a load of laundry once inside. Once I had the sheets inside I then went inside to start another load of laundry. Once I had the sheets put away, I spoke briefly with my sister before hanging out the load of laundry to dry. At 3:40 my grandmother had called. We spoke for five minutes before I bagan to ride the swin air dine. I rode it for thirty minutes before going out to get the mail. Once I was back inside I then went to my bedroom to do my leg weights and my stretching. At 5:00 I then went to the kitchen to eat my dinner. At 5:30 my parents arrived home. I then went outside to help my dad put the tarp over the wood, so as to keep it dry. At 5:45 I then went inside to take an air flo reading. 470, 480, 480. I then sat down to blog. I then took another air flo reading. 450, 470, 470. I then called it a day.

We all make mistakes
I began my Sunday morning at 8:00 a.m. by stretching. Once I had done so I then made my way downstairs to ride the swin air dine for thirty minutes. Once I had finished riding I then went back upstairs to eat my breakfast. While drinking my hot cocoa my mother had made dropped eggs on toast. Once I finished eating I then went to my bedroom to brush my teeth, shower, and continue getting ready to go to church. At 9:30 my mother and I left for church. During Mass today the priest had planned the homily for next weeks gospel reading. He apologized then briefly gave an summary of the past three weeks. After mass, my mother and I payed our Sunday visit to my grandmother at the Pierce House. We arrived home at 12:00 noon. I never even got out of the car and my father got and took me to get a haircut. We arrived home at 1:00. Mom then made me a bean sandwhich for lunch. Once I had finished eating, I then went to bed at 1:30 to rest. I had slept until 4:00 before getting up to ride the swin air dine for thirty minutes. I then went to my bedroom to do my leg exercises with weights. After doing so I then took a shower before sitting down to read the paper. At 5:30 I then went to the kitchen to eat dinner with my parents. At 6:00 I went to my bedroom to blog. I then called it a day.

Happy Sinco De Mio
I began my Saturday morning at 10:00 a. m. by going out into the kitchen to eat pancakes for breakfast. Once I had done so, I then returned to my bedroom at 10:15 to take the sheets off my bed and to put my laundry away. At 10:30 I then went downstairs to ride the swin air dine for thirty minutes. At 11:00 I then went back to my bedroom to stretch and do my weight exercises. At 12:00 I then showered getting ready for the rest of the day. after doing so, I then cleaned my bathroom. At 1:00. I then put clean sheets on my bed thus making it. At 1:20 My mother made me a grilled cheese and pepperoni sandwhich with lettuce and avacado on the side along with a fruit smoothy. Once I had finished eating, I then went to bed at 2:00 and I slept until 4:30. Once I was up I began to stretch and do my weight exercises until 5:30. After taking a shower I then ate homemade beans for dinner. I then watched part of the movie Mrs. Doubt Fire before sitting down to blog.

getting my immunization records for my trip
I began my Friday morning at 7:45 a.m. by taking my first air flo reading: 470, 470, 460. I then went to the kitchen to eat my breakfast. Once I had eaten an asortment of toasted breads, I then washed dish's that were in the sink. After doing so I then went to my bathroom to brush my teeth. While in my befoom I continued to complete my application to attend a blind camp. At 9:15 I called my former doctors office to get records of my immunization sent to me, At 9:30 I then began to do my stretching and weight exercises until 10:10. Once I had taken my shower I then took another air flo reading: 490, 520, 520. At 11:20 My mother had picked after she had left work to bring me to my grandmothers to eat lunch with her, at the Pierce House. While there we had scallops, baked potato, and mixed vegetables. For dessert a piece of chocolate cake with peanutbutter frosting was served. At 12:15 I then went back up to my grandmothers room to take a rest. I I had slept until 2:15 before my mother had arrived to pick me up to take me home. I arrived home at 2:45. After I had helped my mother unpack the car I then rode the swin air dine for thirty minutes. At 3:30 I then went to my bedroom to do my arm weight exercise, I then stretched. At 4:15 I quit exercising. At 4:30 I took a shower and got comfortable for the night. I then sat down to blog before going to the kitchen to eat dinner.

Focuss group, and what is it?
I began my Thursday morning at 5:00 a.m. by going out into the kitchen to eat toast dunked into my hot cocoa. At 5:45 I then made my way back to my bedroom to beging doing my stretching. First I had made my bed and brushed my teeth. Once I had finished my stretching I then shaved before doing my weight exercises. I then proceeded to take my shower getting ready for my day ahead.At 7:30 Larry from United had arrived to take me to WestSide. Catching me off guard, I was not fully ready yet. We arrived at WestSide at 9:00 a.m. Just in time for me to attend my first focus since I had returned to WestSide. This is were clients get together to talk with theropists about the upcoming groups and therop's offered in the next six months. Terry, Danny and I talked about the groups and theropy's offered with Jen before making our decision. At 10:00 during my break I went to the dining area to eat my blueberry muffin. I then met with Brian for counceling. We spent the session talking along the lines of spiritual healing and understanding why God does the things he does. I was telling Brian I am now some what satisfied with the way my arm has healed but still hoping for a miracle with the weekness in my leg and foot. At 11:00 during my P.T. session with Laura, who was up from BaySide covering for Dan. Laura first had my doing exercises on a mat on the floor. At 11:30 she then had me get on the Nu Step. My first trial I went five minutes .21 miles and. Second trial I went six minutes .30 miles. Laura then had me in the parallel bars doing leg raises. After P.T. I then went to the dining area to eat my lunch. Once I had done so I them grabbed my things out of my locker and went upstairs to wait in the lobby for my ride. Larry from United then took my home. Arrived home at 2:15 thus going straight to bed. I had slept until 4:30 before getting up to do my stretching and weight exercises. At 5:30 I then took an air flo reading: 430, 490, 470. After taking a shower I then went to the kitchen to eat staghetti with my parents for dinner. At 7:15 I then went to my bedroom to blog.

My one year anniversary since the day I had my stroke
I began my Wednesday morning at 7:00 a.m. by going out into the kitchen to eat toasted homemade breads for breakfast. Once I had finished eating I then went back into my bedroom to brush my teeth. Once I had done so I then began to do my stretching routine. At 8:00 I then went downstairs to ride the swin air dine for thirty minutes. At 8:30 I then put the laundry away that had been drying downstairs. Once I had done so, I then had started another load of laundry. Once I had taken my shower I then hung the laundry to dry. After doing so. United Wheelchair arrived to bring me to theropy. I arrived at WestSide at 10:45 for my 11:00 a.m. P.T. appointment with Dan. Dan started the session by taking my blood pressure. 110 over 79. I then did fifteen minutes on the Nu Step. After going .85 miles and burning 65 calories Dan then took my blood pressure once again. This time it was 112 over 80. Once we were finished with the Nu Step, Dan then strapped some ankle weight on me and he had me in the parallel bars doing leg raises. Dan then switched it up a little taking off the ankle weights and having me stand on the Rocker Board testing out my balance. Which is not all that great. Before ending the session Dan had mw walking. At 12:00 I then went to the dining area to eat my lunch, with Kay and her helper Theresa. Once I had finished eating I then wen upstairs to the conference room for support group. Today Dee Dee, Todd, Denise, Tina, and I first read the Recovery card with Deb and Nancy. Denise then went around the table to say all of our names. It is a goal of Denises to remember from week to week everyones name. Some of the questions that were up for discussion today were: In what daily activity in your life do you have control? In what situation do you sometimes feel sorry for yourself? How can you feel good enough when you need support? What do you do in order to feel o,k.? After support group I then left for home. I arrived home at 3:45. I went straight to my bedroom to begin doing my weight exercises and stretching. At 4:40 I then took my shower before going to the kitchen to eat chowder for dinner. At 5:15 I then went to my bedroom to do my daily blog. Oh I did want to mention one thing, I t was a year ago today exactly at 5:00 p.m. I had my stoke, and since then I have come a long way on this road towards recovery.

Learning the adaptive downward dog pose during yoga group
I began my Tuesday morning at 5;00 a.m. by stretching, once I had done so I then went to the kitchen to eat my breakfast. Peanutbutter and honey on toast. At 6:00 I then went back to my bedroom to brush my teeth before starting my weight exercises. At 6:30 I took an air flo reaading. 490, 460, 490. I then gathered my things to bring to the door. I then said good-bye to my parents, I was then on my way to WestSide. It is not often I leave before they leave to go to work. Upon my arrivel for 9:00 a.m. I began my day in the conference room doing Yoga with Michelle and Carol. Matt, David, Doug, and I first started out by doing yoga by sitting in a chair. Adaptive Downward Dog Pose. Michelle and carol then had us each on our own matt on the floor doing some yoga. It is only my second week, so I am not to aquainted with the moves so as to explain them to you. At 10:00 during finding meaning group Michelle was covering so Doug and I had more a sharing session not so much structured. Some what of a support group, Doug was telling us about the court date for getting funding to make up lost wages from being out of work do to his brain cancer. Doug was in ninth grade when had developed his brain cancer and he has no control of it. Doug was telling us how he is getting into volenteering at his daugters school. At 11:00 during my break, I went to the dining area to eat my jello. At 11:30 I then had my nursing session with Sally. She had taken my blood pressure 112 over 76. We then talked about things both medical and personal. At 12:00 I then went to the dining area to eat my lunch before going home. At 12:30 Lew from United Wheel Chair took me home. I arrived home at 1:45 and I went straight to bed. I had slept until 4:45 before getting up to do my stretching and weight exercises. At 5:40 I then took a shower getting myself comfortable for the evening. Once I had done so, I then went to the kitchen to eat my dinner with my parents. At 6:30 I then went to my bedroom to blog. I then called it a day.
