A trip to rocky ridge
My Thursday morning began at 5:00 a.m. by getting up so as to make my bed. I then started in with my stretches that has been helping each morning since having my last stroke. At 5:23 I then began to do my back stretches. Once I was all loosened up, I then made my way to the fitness room so as to cycle for twenty minutes. I then stood on the incline board so as to stretch my calves. At 6:05 I then returned to my apartment so as to fix myself some breakfast. Once I had finished eating, At 6:30 I then washed my dishes and picked up the kitchen. At 6:35 I then sat down to fill my empty pill containers. At 6:56 I then brushed my teeth and shaved. At 7:17 I had taken a shower. Once I was ready for the day, I then grabbed my nap sack and went to the lobby to wait for United Wheelchair to arrive. Cheryl from United Wheelchair had arrived to pick me up at 8:30. I had arrived at WestSide Neurorehabilitation services at 8:50. I had waited in the lobby for ten minutes before going to a treatment room for a rehab session with Kala. We had played two games of cribbage and one game of Mancola. At 10:00 During Healthy Brains Group with Brenda and Carol we had played Red Heron. At 11:00 During Current Events Group we spoke about the shooting of Cop. Ugene Cole. We then discussed the memory of 911. At 12:00 I then won to the lobby so as to meet my ride. Cheryl from United Wheelchair was also for my return trip. She had brought me right to the village greeen so that I could go right to lunch. Once I had finished eating, I then returned to my apartment. Once I had brushed my teeth, I then made my move in words with friends. At 2:00 Tim Small had arrived my case manager from the devision of the blind. We first discussed putting O&M training on hold until I have my appointment with my neurologist. It’s place start working with a rehab specialist and looking into going back to work. At 3:00 Tim had left. I then took a shower. I then made myself a salad, then sat down to eat. At 3:40 I then washed my dishes. At 4:00 I then took my laundry to the Harpswell laundry room so as to start a wash. At 4:30 I then went to the lobby, so as to meet with gezell to go on the outing to Rocky Ridge. We had arrived at 5:00. While there I had a turkey sandwich, with a smiling hill farm milk. At 5:56 we loaded into the van and headed back. We arrived back to Schooner Estates at 6:40. I had gone strait to the laundry room to put the laundry in the dryer. I then took a shower before pulling up my blog, so as to type of my day.
