Learning the adaptive downward dog pose during yoga group
I began my Tuesday morning at 5;00 a.m. by stretching, once I had done so I then went to the kitchen to eat my breakfast. Peanutbutter and honey on toast. At 6:00 I then went back to my bedroom to brush my teeth before starting my weight exercises. At 6:30 I took an air flo reaading. 490, 460, 490. I then gathered my things to bring to the door. I then said good-bye to my parents, I was then on my way to WestSide. It is not often I leave before they leave to go to work. Upon my arrivel for 9:00 a.m. I began my day in the conference room doing Yoga with Michelle and Carol. Matt, David, Doug, and I first started out by doing yoga by sitting in a chair. Adaptive Downward Dog Pose. Michelle and carol then had us each on our own matt on the floor doing some yoga. It is only my second week, so I am not to aquainted with the moves so as to explain them to you. At 10:00 during finding meaning group Michelle was covering so Doug and I had more a sharing session not so much structured. Some what of a support group, Doug was telling us about the court date for getting funding to make up lost wages from being out of work do to his brain cancer. Doug was in ninth grade when had developed his brain cancer and he has no control of it. Doug was telling us how he is getting into volenteering at his daugters school. At 11:00 during my break, I went to the dining area to eat my jello. At 11:30 I then had my nursing session with Sally. She had taken my blood pressure 112 over 76. We then talked about things both medical and personal. At 12:00 I then went to the dining area to eat my lunch before going home. At 12:30 Lew from United Wheel Chair took me home. I arrived home at 1:45 and I went straight to bed. I had slept until 4:45 before getting up to do my stretching and weight exercises. At 5:40 I then took a shower getting myself comfortable for the evening. Once I had done so, I then went to the kitchen to eat my dinner with my parents. At 6:30 I then went to my bedroom to blog. I then called it a day.
