Calling my new doctor at L/A internal medicine with Sally
My Tuesday morning began at 5:00 a.m. by making my bed. At 5:08 I then began to do my stretches that I have been doing since having my last stroke. At 5:24 I then grabbed my weights and began to do my weight exercises. At 5:28 I then began to do my back exercises. Once I had finished my exercises in my apartment, I then made my way to the fitness room so as to to cycle for twenty minutes. After doing so, I then stretch my calves on the incline board. At 6:15 I then used the chest press before grabbing the ten pound bar. At 6:25 I then returned to my apartment to eat some fruit before fixing myself a bowl of cereal with a piece of toast. Once I had finished eating, I brushed my teeth. At 6:52 I then washed my dishes and picked up my kitchen before shaving. I then took my shower continuing to get ready for my day. At 7:40 I then put an heat pack and then ice pack on my back. At 8:00 I then grabbed my knapsack and went to the lobby to wait. United Wheelchair had arrived at 8:15. I had arrived at WestSide Neuro rehab at 8:15. I had sat quietly in the lobby waiting for my first appointment. I had gone into Priyadarshi’s office at 9:15. Today we spoke about my involvement in the community. Getting evolved in groups or activity’s in my community. First thing that came to mind was the knights of Columbus. I used be involved with this organization when I lived in Farmington. We then looked up Catholic Churches in Auburn to see if they have an active knights of Columbus. At 10:00 during Pine Tree Planing Group with Tobie today, we cut tops off plastic soda bottles, so as to be used in a craft activity. We then made photo albums to be used on a scavenger hunt. The photo albums will be at the tree house. A destination the scavenger hunt will lead you to. At 11:00 I then went to the nurses station for my nursing session with Sally. Sally first took my blood pressure. 108 over 62. I then called to get the pharmacy to order a script at the auburn pharmacy that I have not ordered yet. Sally then called my new primary care doctor at L/A Internal Medicine, so as to have the notes from my first appointment with them faxed over to WestSide. We then went through my medications with Sally so as to update them and what time they are taken. We then spoke about Pine Tree Camp and the time spent there and if I wanted Leave Wednesday night instead of of Thursday morning, I could leave at 6:00 p.m. with Brenda on the second day. At 12:00 I then WestSide. Upon my arrival back to Schooner Estates at 12:10 I had brought my knapsack to my apartment before going to the village green to eat. Once I had finished doing so, I had returned to my apartment at 12:56. Once I had brushed my teeth, I then lied down to rest. Before doing so Sue and Jen two of the cleaning lady’s came in to change the sheets on my bed. I then lied down and slept from 1:08-4:15. I then went to the lobby to let mark know about the upcoming fire drill testing that they are having in all of the apartments. We have to be in them so as to see if things work. I let him know that I can not with all the noise and flashing lights, it would sure enough put me into a seizure. He said that he is aware of that and that they would have someone else in my apartment to do the testing for me. At 4:30 I then made myself a salad. Once I had finished eating it, I then washed my dishes and picked up. At 5:00 I then took my shower before talking to my mother. At 5:40 I then pulled up my blog and began to type of my day.
