Playing Mancala with Jamie
My Thursday morning began at 5:30 a.m. by getting out of bed so as to stretch. I had first focused on my stroke recovery stretches. At 5:50 I then turned my focus onto my back stretches. Once I was loosened up, I then began my weight routine. I never thought I would get back to doing this part of my workout with my back hurting the way it once did. At 6:20 I then shaved before taking my shower. At 6:45 I then went into the kitchen once I was ready for the day ahead, so as to eat some fruit. I then had had a bagel with peanut butter on one-half and strawberry cream cheese on the other. At 7:10 I then had returned to my bedroom so as to brush my teeth. I then put in my eye and nose drops before using my inhaler. At 8:00 I then put on my splint before sting down to read. I did so until 8:20 when United Wheelchair arrived in my driveway. I had arrived at WestSide at 9:45. I had sat on the quiet side of the lobby waiting for Kala. During our rehab session, we had chose a picture to put in a chapter of my book. At 11:00 during my rehab session with Jamie we first had played mancala. After a couple of games at 11:25 we had gone for a walk outside of WestSide along the sidewalk. When we arrived back to WestSide I had left to go home. We first had to bring a client home that lived at an area residential home in Auburn. I soon arrived home at 1:35. Once I had eaten my lunch, I then brushed my teeth before laying down to rest. I slept from 1:55-4:56. Once I had taken my shower I then put some clean laundry away before filling my empty pill containers. I then went into the kitchen so as to have a bite to eat. Once I had returned to my bedroom I pulled up my blog and typed of my day.
