Changing the focus to cognitive skills
My Thursday morning began at 5:00 a.m. by getting out of bed so as to do my stretches that have been helping during my stroke recovery. At 5:20 I then began to do my weight exercises. Once I had finished working my upper body, I then began to do my back stretches, which also include a little leg work with ankle weights. At 5:40 I then shaved before taking a shower. At 6:00 I then went into the kitchen once I was entirely ready, so as to eat some fruit with fruit dip. After doing so, I then returned to my bedroom so as to put my eye and nose drops in. I then went back into the kitchen so as to eat my breakfast. Once I had done so, I then retunred to my bedroom so as to brush my teeth and take in some air. At 7:00 I then sat down to fill my empty pill containers for the week. I then called the pharmacy so as to order my script. At 7:15 United Wheelchair had arrived to bring me to WestSide Neurorheabillitation Services. Upon my arrival at 8:35, I had gone to the client lounge to wait for my first therapy. At 9:00 I had gone to the conference room for Martial Arts group. The therapist covering the group had let the other client and I know that there was not enough clients in the group for a professional instructor to make it beneficial of his time. When talked about changing the focus of the group to a cognitive based group. We then played three games of uno. At 10:00 During my rehab session with Kala, We had continued to edit my book. At 11:00 during my rehab session with Jamie We had painted Halloween figures on blocks of wood that we had looked up on pintrist. At 12:00 I then met my United Wheelchair driver in the lobby. I had arrived home at 1:15. Once I had eaten my lunch, I then retunred to my bedroom at 1:20 so as to brush my teeth before laying down to rest. I had slept until 4:45 before waking. I then took a shower before eating dinner. At 5:30 I then pulled upo my blog and began to type of my day.
