Stuffing my pillow during Recreational therapy.

My Tuesday Morning began at 5:00 a.m. by making my bed. After doing so, I then began my morning routine. I first focused on my stroke recovery stretches. At 5:24 I then worked my upper body with my weight exercises. I then turned to my back exercises which include a little leg work with ankle weights. At 5:40 I then shaved before taking a shower. Once I was ready for the day, I had put in my eye and nose drops before going into the kitchen so as to eat some fruit with fruit dip while drinking my hot cocoa. I had blueberry pancakes Once I had finished eating, I then retunred to my bedroom so as to brush my teeth before taking in some air. I then grabbed my knapsack and met United Wheelchair in my driveway. I had arrived to WestSide Neurorehabilitation at 9:00. I sat in the lobby briefly while waiting to meet with Priyadarshi for counseling. As we were talking he had suggested to me on dueing a type of therapy on me so that I can get over the anger and frustration that I express. I might not show it during my day with others, but deep down, I am frustrated with what has happened and the set backs that I have experienced. At 10:00 I then met with Tobie for recreational therapy. During our time to day I had stuffed the pillow that I was making from an old t-shirt. I then started to make another one. I then brought it home so as to finish. I will then bring it in next week to show Tobie. At 11:00 I then went to the craft room. While waiting for other clients, I had spoken to Michelle about getting back out into the community during our one on one time on Wednesday so as to work on scanning and learning how to use the self checkout John had showed me last week. Once the other clients had arrived, we had worked on making a magnet with whatever we want to put on it. I had put the saying, “Don’t count the days make the days count” on it. At 12:00 I then went into the lobby to meet my United Wheelchair driver who was to bring me home. I had arrived home at 1:30. Once I had eatenmy lunch, I then retunred to my bedroom so as to brush my teeth before laying down to rest. I slept from 2:00-4:15. Once I had eaten, I then took a shower before pulling up my blog.
