Experiencing E.M.D.A. Testing for the first time
My Tuesday morning began at 5:00 a.m. by making my bed. After doing so, I then began to do my stretching that has helped during my stroke recovery. At 5:20 I then grabbed my weights and began to work my upper body with the various weight exercised I have learned along the way during this ordeal. At 5:26, I then ended my workout with my back stretches before shaving. Once I had taken a shower and was ready fro my day, I had gone into the kitchen at 6:00 so as to eat some fruit. I then had eaten my breakfast. Once I had finished, I had retunred to my bedroom so as to brush my teeth. I then put in my eye and nose drops. Once I had taken in some air with my inhaler, I had grabbed my things and met United Wheelchair in my driveway. Upon my arrival to WestSide Neurorehab for 8:30, I had gone to the client lunge so as to wait to meet with Priyadarshi. Today was the first day he had tried a type of testing on me called E.M.D.A. The process is suppose to help you forget memory’s of the past as a therapist helps guide you along the way. Oe at least be more at ease about them. At 10:00 I then went to the lobby while waiting to meet with Sally. She had to meet with another client, which was sort of an emergency. We were able to meet the last fifteen minutes before it was time for my next therapy. At 11:00 I had gone to the arts and crafts room for expressive arts. Today Michelle had us looking online for Christmas Crafts. Next week we will be making a hot coca mug from pop cycle sticks. At 12:00 I had gone to the lobby so as to meet my United Wheelchair driver. I had arrived home at 1:00 p.m. Once I was nice and comfortable, I then had a bowl of soup before laying down to rest. I had slept from 1:30-4:30 once I had brushed my teeth. I then took a shower before going into the kitchen to eat dinner. At 5:10 I then retunred to my bedroom so as to pull up my blog and began to type of my day.
